I'm going to play the scenario "Curse of Asfaloth" with my party. I was reading the description of a character (Alessandra) it is mentioned that she is part of the Arrows of Light. Who are they?

Oh, she must be a very kind lady... NOOOOOT!

Arrows of Light are a bunch of elite White mages, mostly recruited out of the ranks of the Garetian academy "Sword and Staff".
These mages are hunters... they track down and punish illegimate use of magic and especially demonogists as well as white mages who left the path.
AoL are scarse... there are about one dozen of them in entire Aventuria and seldom do they work in teams... they generally do not HAVE to, as they really deserve the term "elite"!

As said: most of them are combat mages, but specialised in countermagic and magical perception too.

Unless you are a really loyal white mage, you might not want the AoL to cross your paths as a magic user.

But beware: they are NOT mindless, numb killing machines. They fight for their ideals which are exaggerated, but still noble... in some way.
Furthermore: they ARE held responsible for their deeds. If they mistakingly punish an innocent man, AoL are NOT treated lightly by their guils!

Of course: this group of mages are strictly NPC!
