We're going to adopt many of the rules used by the "literates" on Neopets boards, mainly because I agree with them. Other rules may be adopted from my other site, so they may seem a bit off...Don't worry, I'll get around to evolving them sometime.

1. God-moding is unnecessary. Please refrain from doing so.

2. Mary-Sues and Gary-Stus aren't welcome. Come'n! Who's that perfect in the real world?

3. One-liners can be annoying. Let's stay away from those when rping, yes?

4. Chatspeak is one of my pet-peeves. I don't think its necessary outside of OoC. All clear?

5. Begging won't get you anywhere. Don't flood me with emails, messages or neomails...or any other type of contact. I will give you what you want when I want to.

6. Please try to be respectful of other people. Flaming, spamming and harrassing may result in banning from the site.

7. This is a heterosexual AND homosexual-friendly environment. I don't want anyone getting religious about it, or flaming because they think they are better. In fact...

8. Religion is not something that should be discussed here. It is inappropriate and I'm not up for arguing about it. (Exclusions: If in an rp, there's a Religious celebration, someone's char is an obvious sign of that religion ((angels, demons, priests, rabbis...ect)), this shouldn't be a problem.)

9. Though obvious, iC and OoC comments should be differentiated from one another in some way. I know most of you do that already, but just a reminder.

10. Animagus, metamorphagus, veela, werewolves, half this, half thats, should first be approved by the Headmistress (c'est moi! ^^ ), remember this is on a first come, first serve basis. I reserve the right to take the privilege away from you and your char to be such. This now includes transfer students. Which I doubt there will be any more of.

11. Professors, Heads of House, caretakers, Head boy and girl, Prefects, Quidditch team captains, ghosts...ect, should first be approved by the Headmistress, same as the species mentioned in 10.

12. You may have up to 5 characters. I, myself, have the Headmistress and another you may meet.

13. Quidditch captains and Head boy and girl may chose whom they please as team members and prefects, respectively.

14. I know we've all read the Harry Potter books. That's what this site is basically about. But PLEASE refrain from describing your character with names. This takes away from your post, and makes you seem inept with adjectives. This site is about being creative. Name dropping is NOT creative.

15. I know some people have a hard time spelling words. It happens. But sometimes intervention is needed for the rest of us to puzzle out what you are saying. Most of you will have a writing program on your computer that has Spell-check. Write your posts in there and let it correct you. If you don't have one of these programs, try merriam-webster.com or dictionary.com. This is to up-hold the readability of your posts. (Thank you if you do, if you don't, you may get a pm from me to fix up your posts.)

16. Although there is no set limit to how short a post can be, and I do allow for some bit of writer's block, I don't want posts to be shorter than two paragraphs. There is always something to write about: tiny actions, thoughts, ect.
