Lately Teq has been Getting, Denied To EVERY studio.

Lately I have been getting denied to every studio..
And It is killing me inside.
Teq felt sooo good when she learned more..Then..She is told her text is bad, and I need improvement
I mean sure, that is fine every once in a while, but when it happens at every studio, I literally want to stop making graphics, maybe only freebs.
I had almost quit once, but they pulled me back in at obsession my first place where I was accepted.
But now, I mean this is out of hand, and I have 6.0 adobe..not much people can help Teq out

aw teq, i'm sorry i don't really know much to say to this one.. i guess just that it takes a long time to get to the point where you're really good. i mean, i was in-between good and bad for a lonnnggg time, in fact; i still am kind of (in my opinion, that is). don't be too hard on yourself, it just makes life more stressful. and trust me, i know. i'm too hard on myself, and nothing i do is good enough to me. i always wish that i just could let it go a little, and then i'd have more fun with everything
so i guess try and think of it that way. and hopefully someone else will come along who can give better advice than me

i know what you mean when you can't find someone who will like your graphics. I try quite a bit. All I've got to say is that even though some people don't like them, doesn't mean that you should give up! there are some times when noone wants to order any of my graphics, but then some times there are some people! Would you be willing to show me some of your work? I'd like to see what you are able to do! I'm sure it looks wonderful! (certainly A LOT better than mine!! )

Lol it seems like i'm the worst designer here. I only have free programs. Like I have GIMP 2 and Paint thats it!

Dont worry guys, keep working at it, each graphic you make will make your work better! I know what its like when none likes your graphics, Ive entered about 20 contests this summer and yet only won a few, even when I thought that mine was way better. I have been making graphics for about a year now, and they are pro and beautiful!!!

Just keep practicing and practicing, believe me practice makes perfect! Hope you feel better!


P.S. I think Paint is more confusing than photoshop. I am so weird....lol!

Practice makes perfect. You should have seen my fist attempts at making pictures. The worst I have ever seen, seriously. But I kept at it and look where I am now. Though I must admit, I see my work as crap when I compare it to artists such as Heartbreaker, Rikku, axis/w.ild, Dianna, Gumbo and all the other fabulous personalisers out there. The only thing you can do to improve your pictures is to practice constantly and take in the comments and critiques that people give you. Ask questions, learn new techniques, you're not going to get better over night. If you've done a lot of art theory that helps too. I did Studio Arts at school and that helped me heaps. By the way, that picture is good. You're improving.

I have been working more

Psh, you think you have it hard? I have sold roughly 5-7 and thats it. But I've been trying so much harder, and its best to advertise WITH an example picture on hand. I've also sold a lot of pictures by making the person one without them asking..they usually buy it!

Hypsiphobia, I've had much worse. I've been making graphics [improving] for 4 years now, and I admit, before I only had paint and got more orders than I do have right now with Photoshop and PSP 7! Haha, i guess no cutting at all is better than my cutting. I made this pic with PSP 7 [PSP is soo confusing to me sometimes!] on 7/10/07:

haha, weird. I prefer the first pic though but that is a BEAUTIFUL pic! Man I need to improve but I think I'm at a good start considering I'm only an eleven year old XD
