TECHNOLOGY TAKING OVER

Does a relationship have a chance with all the technology today?

The reason I ask is because now in days, you barely talk over the phone. iT TAKE Communication to get to know someone. A lot of people would rather text each other for 2 hours straight than to talk on the phone. Why is that? Is it easier to be yourself over a text message?

I once dated this guy that used text messaging each and every time he wanted to talk to me. And one time, we text each other for about 4 hours. And normally, I'm not the texting type of person. I would like to talk over the phone and hear your voice to tell rather what a person is telling me is true and sincere. You can't figure all that out over a text message. And not only that but the bill be sky high after all the texting. it's much easier and cheaper to pick up the phone and dial the number.

I find myself using the old handy txt messaging system some times.

I'll talk on the phone in a minute. But I guess I'd mainly use it because I don't really have much to talk about and just want to see what the person is doing.

However...I do think that txt messages is the new communication system.

It's sad once you really think about it because back in the days, you could sit on the phone for hours on in.

It's funny you ask that and funny how I came in the thread right after I just got done texting my friend. Text messaging is taking over these days. Idk...it seems to be more convient at the time for certain situations.

I'M SO GUILTY OF THIS!! I'm always text messeging somebody no matter what it's for. Especially if I'm on the bus coming home from work and instead of sitting there staring out the window at nothing, I text people It's become a bad habit for me.

Txt is used for when you dont feel like talking or hearing someones voice. although I barely use my txt but use it when I dont want a certain person calling me. Just txt and say hi to have her think that she's on my mind and call it a day.

I think that text is a good thing. especially in the beginning of a new relationship. If your not to sure about meeting him face to face right off, you can text each other

I cut off my txt messaging system a long time ago because my bill use to be OUTSTANDING! and I couldn't keep it up anymore.
