• No fighting in character. I swear, I won't tolerate it at all. At all. Don't call people names and I recommend not bringing up controversial topics if you're going to be offended by other people's opinions. So there will be no name calling or fighting on the site. You get one warning but if it happens twice you're gone, no questions asked
• NO and I mean NO RACIAL SLURS Derogatory terms are like fighting and won't be tolerated. They're not funny and can't be used casually I don't care what you say, they're offensive and won't be dealt with. First time its a warning but if it happens again than you're going to be banned.
• Keep it appropriate. I'm assuming that you're smart, mature, and know the difference between appropriate and inappropriate. I don't expect you to be a saint but every other word out of your mouth shouldn't be vulgar. Also, I really don't care about how you got laid or what your favorite sexual position is. You may not think that's "vulgar" but yeah, it is. And if you post it you risk getting banned.
• Safety- Be safe. You should all know the basic internet safety rules. If you don't you shouldn't be using the internet or you could just go here. But yeah, I don't want people giving out their address or phone number, myspace is alright but even on there, don't be stupid. Please.

• Applications- Post your applications here once it is accepted it will be moved to the profile forum.
• Mary Sues- Don't make a perfect character. It says so on the application but I'll say it again. Just don't. You won't be accepted and its no fun. After you are accepted, play up your character's flaws as that makes for interesting plots.

• NO GOD-MODING!- None. Whatsoever. It's annoying and makes for low quality posts when someone is controlling another person's character. Just don't do it. I've heard people say that the other person has said it's okay for that person to play their character for the time being but I'm not going to allow that, I'm sorry. I'm all for plot advancements BUT I don't think it's okay to let another person play your character because no one can play your character like you can. So if you want to breeze through a plot talk with that other person involved, tell them what you want to happen and listen to their input and together you have to play it out. No one can play anyone else's character UNLESS that person has signed away their character permanently. ((PM me if that happens))
• Length- I know, I’ve had days of writers block too. Really terrible days but try to write at least a paragraph, that’s five sentences. Describe your surroundings or have your character do something stupid with their hands if you must.
• Grammar- Please check your spelling. I am terrible at grammar and spelling so I’m not really one who should be talking but please, check over your posts. If you can’t be understood or every other word is misspelled I might have to ban you. I’m sorry.
• Death- I think we should all know that you can't kill off another person's character without their consent. So...please don't do that. If you want to kill off someone's character or your own character you need to PM me first and get my okay. If you are reading this, disregard the phrase at the end of the rules. Keep reading and you’ll find the real phrase
• Sex- If two characters are having sex PLEASE don't go through all the details. I think we all know what happens during intercourse and I am REALLY creeped out by cyber sex so please, you can have them make out and even remove clothing but then skip ahead.
• Dating- Keep relationships realistic. A 19 year old and a 10 year old wouldn’t be dating. And 10 year olds don’t usually have sex. To read more about age-appropriate relationships check out this thread
• Dueling- When dueling becomes a bigger part of the plot I'll type up a page explaining how it works. For now I'll just say this: When fighting you can't miss or make every single one of the shots. No one's perfect.
• Plotting- When plotting please try and be originally. I’ve been on a lot of sites where things become an epidemic whether it be self-mutilating or pregnancy. Try and come up with something no one else is doing.
• Pregnancy- For the most part I won’t allow pregnancy among students. People don’t usually plan out their character’s pregnancy very well, they tend to rush through the months that their character’s pregnant and want the child to be older once its born. If you really want your character to realistically have a baby PM me and we’ll talk about it. Professors can have children as often as they like however, they must PM me first too just to keep me updated and their pregnancy must be realistic meaning nine months equals nine months, you're going to have to wait until we're done with all nine of them and once the baby is born it can't age faster than everyone else.
• Drugs- I’ll admit it drugs make things great. They make characters interesting and you can have stoned characters do crazy things that spur a lot of drama. However, seeing how the students are basically trapped in this school without contact with the outside world there will be no drug usage because where are they going to get it from? Sorry, guys. If you have gotten this far I’m assuming you read the rules pretty carefully so the real phrase is don’t do drugs kids. ((This rule is subject to change though))
