What does it take to reach a position of power?
Whatever it is Ludwig Valencia certainly has it as there seems to no longer be a force on earth that can stop him and his vicious army.
It was over 120 years ago that the young man began his crusade and did what many viewed as impossible; achieved word domination. Now in the year 2327 most live in poverty and all in fear of their harsh ruler who hasn't seemed to age a day since he began this great war. All work to support him and his vast army and most have stopped asking questions about the public executions, the imprisonment of seemingly innocent citizens or the kidnapping a certain children from their homes. What the public fails to realize is that there is more trouble brewing than what meets the eye.
Valencia Academy, named obviously after the dictator who founded it, is a school that has only just opened its doors to children between the ages of 10 and 19. Despite it's infamous owner and headmaster the school is not known about by the pubic or even the children who attend it, that is, until they are snatched from their homes and forced to go to the academy.
Who are these children? They are the future. They are Ludwig's soon-to-be soldiers and associates who have been hand-picked for one reason or another. Some possess powers such as control over an element or the ability to transform into something or someone else. Others were chosen because of their amazing skills as warriors or obvious callings to be tomorrow's leaders. No matter what the reason for their attendance at Valencia Academy one thing is true for all students, not one of them is your "average" sort of kid.
At the school the students will be pushed to their limits. They will see the power inside of them identified and sculpted, but will they survive without contact with the outside world? Will they cope with being ripped away from their families who were either imprisoned or murdered after their kidnapping? Will they be able to handle the pressure of harsh, brutal teachers and teaching methods? Will they rise to meet or even surpass their overwhelmingly high expectations or will they fall?
Most importantly will they accept this? Will they allow themselves to be morphed to Ludwig’s liking or will they see that despite the promise of power, wealth, and prosperity that awaits them after graduating this is wrong? Will they bond together and make a stand? Because any hope left that the world will one day be free rests in the hands of the students at Valencia Academy.
