Aaron watched the words on the page flood before his eyes. Mysterious jumbles and uncomprehendable symbols. Aaron did know that he was failing all of his academic classes. He just couldn't do the work. He didn't want to get kicked out of the school, he knew that they would not just send him home. Aaron took off his dreaded glasses and messaged his temples. He felt alone. Like no one else could possibly understand his struggle. He knew this was absurd, there must be someone who could understand what was wrong with him. There must be someone who could give him a real reason as to why he just couldn't read. Aaron put his glasses back on and picked up his pencil. He doodled around the page, just kind of letting his pencil do what it wanted. The idea popped into his mind that perhaps he should speak with Valencia about his reading disability, perhaps he would understand why Aaron was failing, and not punish him for it. Judging by the environment of the school, Aaron doubted that Valencia was a warm, understanding kind of guy, but Aaron was a strong earth elemental, perhaps it wouldn't be as important for him to be able to read.

"Do you have dyslexia?" The words whispered gently across Aaron's ear, seemingly coming from no where. But a girl, sitting in a windowsill with a book open on her lap was looking at his curiously. Her vivid green eyes, hidden behind glasses as well, were locked on him. Even stranger, purple curls tumbled from her head in gentle ringlets, and it was earning her some strange looks. She also had a long, thin frame that put her at five foot ten inches--well over the height of any normal boy at the school. She had on heels with her unifrom which pushed her height up to six feet solid. But it was more than that. There was something about her that just...invited you in.

Vivi cocked her head to one side as her voice floated gently to Aaron again. "I just noticed that you were having problems reading, you know? Oh, and by the way, I am the one talking to you. The girl with the purple hair and green eyes? Yeah, that's me. I'm an air elemental, that's how I'm talking to you. Sorry for not explaining..."

Aaron looked up, a bit confused at first but he quickely recovered. He had grown used to the unexpected in his stay at Valencia. She asked a very good question, was he dyslexic. He had no idea. Perhaps, but he always thought that dyslexics could learn how eventually... Aaron looked around and noticed the girl with the purple hair. She was tall, proabably the same height as Aaron, but she wore heals, which would probably make her taller upon standing. "Hey! I'm just.... distracted." Aaron lied skillfully. He wasn't one to lie, but this was just the one thing he didn't feel comfortable talking about to a complete stranger. He took his glasses off and shut his book, then approached the purple-haired girl. "I'm Aaron, whats your name?" He greeted her with a warm, friendly smile.

Vivi knew quite well that he was lying--she just has a sence about these things. But she didn't press the issue. He wouldn't have lied if he wanted to talk about it.

When he came over, Vivi was genuenly pleased. He seemed friendly and nice, not to mention outgoing if he came over to talk to her. "Hey, Aaron. I'm Viviana. But you can call me Vivi, everyone does. Sorry about that before, I just noticed that you were having trouble. So, what's your power?"

OOC: meep, it's crap and short, sorry

ooc: tis fine

bic: "I'm an Earth Elemental, you said that you were an Air Elemental didn't you?" Aaron sat down on the floor beneath the windowsill and leaned up against a bookshelf so he was facing Vivi. His bag sat abandonded on the table, but he didn't feel like going to retrieve it. "So what brings you to the library today?" Aaron briefly glanced around the room. Some people were quietly studying or getting homework done, others had panicked looks on their faces, implying that they were doing some last minute project or trying to complete overdue work. A couple were browsing the shelves and finally the librarian was pearing over her glasses like a hawk, scanning for any trouble makers, her eyes set on Aaron and Vivi, as if expecting them to cause a problem at any minute. Aaron promptly turned his attention back Vivi. She was certainly interesting looking with her purple hair, though it seemed to work on her.

Vivi amiled again, looking at Aaron. "Yeah, air elemental. And, you know, just doing research." She held up her book, entitled, Wind and Its Importance In The Weather. "I get to do a lovely report later, but it could be worse."

Vivi's long eyelashed came together in a blink and she pulled off her glasses. Although she was registered blind without them, she wasn't used to wearing them, preferring her contacts. Her finger curled softly around a purple tendrel as she asked, "What were you doing? Besides having trouble reading?" In her own sarcastically dry way, Vivi had made a joke.

Aaron's face fell. She had to mention the reading again. "I wasn't struggling, I just wasn't focusing." Aaron said with a hint of annoyance. Aaron's face softened and he crossed his legs. "I hate reports, do you have a thesis?" Aaron asked conversationally. The libriarian gave Aaron and Vivi a scolding look as if to say 'quiet down'. Aaron nodded, turned to Vivi and then giggled almost silently.

(ooc: short and sucky... sorry)

OOC: tis okay!

BIC: Vivi rolled her eyes at the librarian and dragged their conversation towards them, throwing it out of the window to keep it from distracting anyone. Aaron was very defensive about this reading issue, when really, Vivi didn't think it was a big deal. Maybe he just wasn't sure, and he was upset and worried. But it definately wasn't a big issue. Maybe to some, but not to Vivi. She understood.

She sighed, and looked out the window. "Well, I think it's going to be something like, 'wind keeps the weather circulating in order to keep the elements in balance' or something," Vivi told, her mouth twisting in a frown. "It's crap, but I have a month or so to finish it, so it doesn't really matter right now, you know?"
