Tien nodded. The girl had not offended her, it was hard to offend Tien, she was naive and that wasn't her fault, Tien was naive too when she came to Valencia and in so many ways she was still naive. Tien pushed her hands into her skirt pockets. The pockets were so empty and shallow. She used to keep everything in her warm, deep pockets, that saved her on many an occassions. It was how she communicated with Ames, and how she tryed to free Joey and herself from the dungeon. She had since lost that marker. Probably still down in the dungeons somewhere, lost in the dark.
The girl then asked Tien if she wanted something to eat, shaking her out of her own thoughts. Tien wasn't very hungry, but she feared becoming so, because the pangs still brought about nausea (sp?) from the 2 days she was forced to go without eating. "Yeah sure, I could grab a bite" She lifted her bag and slung it around her shoulder. "I wanna drop my stuff in my dorm and change into... less degrading clothes." Tien chose her words carefully, so that she captured her exact thoughts on the uniforms.
