The year 2006 is the worst in our history, we didn't win an away-game and are now on the last place after the half of the rounds.

History of protest-actions:
- in March we stopped singing the name of our players because of a 0:3 against Austria Wien (the players played very badly)

- at the beginning of April the first action after the cup-out and a discussion between capos and players:

"Let the words follow actions"

- in the end of April after another derby-defeat 15 minutes no support:

"15 minutes being silent to show big disappointness!"
"Empty words, no reactions - you gave away our love!"

- in August after a 1:4 home-defeat:

"We need 11 warriors + 1 general! Not 12 losers!"
After that match we got a new trainer.

- next protest in October:

"What you can we can too: 45 minutes nothing!"
No support in the first 45 minutes

- on 5th November Derby in Vienna:
It was a very important derby, because both teams were close to the last place. So we decided to do full support (also with the names of the players). The match ended 1:1

- at the next match we presented the banner:

"Thanks for nothing!" (X means draw)
After 87 minutes of great support we got the 1:1 against the reduced GAK (at that moment last)

- in November the biggest and last protest against management, president, trainer and players = against everyone who is guilty for this situation:

~ "We don't watch any longer how you destory our most important thing"

Both curves were closed for 31 minutes (Rapid won 31 titles). After another 1:1 the field was invaded, but this happend 15 minutes after the game was over.

During the year there were a lot of other banners and songs like "Zeigt endlich Herz für Rapid Wien" ("show heart for Rapid W.") or "Ihr habt unsre Farben verraten ("you have given away our colours").

After some troubles between the curves and the rest of the stadium (they didn't agree with this way of protest) and the fact that Rapid is close to the last place the fanclubs decided a plan for the last 4 rounds:
No banners and no flags, just an old banner with "SK Rapid Wien":

We also sing the whole 90 minutes to help our team getting away from the last place. On 2nd December we had our first victory since September. And maybe we will celebrate next weekend our first away-vicotory in 2006 and leave the last place before the winterbreak.

Thanks a lot i really like R.Wien they are one of my favourite clubs in wurope and i saw a few protest pics but not a lot and also not knowing what the banners said it was difficult to know if they were protest banners

so thanks a lot for opening a topic and collecting all of the pics together
i hope R.Wien will start winning and get away from the bottom of the league

i think having bad scores and not doing well is what every club needs some day bcoz you cansee the real fans in these sort of days
like from what i can see is the stadium is still nearly allways full espesially the ends so Rapid fans prove once more that they are good and don't support scores or players they support the team and colours

Today Rapid won their first away-match in 2006 against Ried, it was the last game this year. 20 minutes after the match the away-block was still singing...
