During the past week we sent a public announcement that criticised the team’s performances. The disappointment had nothing to do with losing but with the attitude shown by some players on the pitch. Remember that after the game with Anorthosis PAN.SY.FI members were the first to applaud and show their respect to the players since despite losing they played well. Also after being knocked out by Bate, PAN.SY.FI stood by the team and continued to do so even after losing the Super Cup. In principle as fans we always stand by the team but this time around what troubled us most was that the team lacked the fighting spirit and the willingness to win. Therefore, it was decided that against Salamina the fans would not sing and chant for the players as a sign of discontent. This of course did not imply in any way that the orange fans raised any issues concerning our coach or the Board of the team but simply a message was to be sent a message to those that have the privilege to wear the APOEL jersey.
