Title: Ultras Lovech?
Description: Got information about them?

BlueWhiteBlack - September 14, 2007 09:42 AM (GMT)
Cheers mates!
Since I'm about to make the trip to the middle of nowhere called Lovech I would be glad if you could give me some info about their scene. I only found some pics in the photo section of this forum but no info about their Ultras or Northtown Boys. Can somebody help me?

Please serious answers without sentences like "They are shitty" or other. I'm intereted in objective info.

Thanks a lot!

Well, in fact they are not quite a decent group to talk about, even objective.

For some time, their trips (as guests foreign or in Bulgaria) were sponsored by the management, they only had to pay a very small amount (i.e. they pay 2.5 euro to travel 200 km and back, some of this sort).

But recently some of them decided to separate from the main bunch of the fans and went to the curva.

I think they only have one group - "Street Fighters Lovech Town", the other flags, I guess, are just... flags?

My personal opinion is that they are crazy villagers. :D They show lack of originality (songs, striscioni, etc.), they aren't what one can call "ultras" or "hooligans". Though they had some clashes with Dinamo Bucharest in 2005, haha. :D

Here, in Bulgaria, mainly 4 clubs have the amount and quality of fans, which actions you might wish to watch - Levski Sofia and cska Sofia and the 2 Plovdiv teams - Botev and Loko. The other teams' supporters also try to do some cool stuff but often it isn't good enough.

But, after all, it's all your decision, the upper text is only my point of view. ;)

Ah, I see. Thanks for the info.
But there is no descision to be made. Hamburg is playing in Lovech so I have to go.

agree with redline. i think they are one artificial team with an awful supporters. this team lives because of the money of the owner, not because of the fans or the history(in fact it is not an old club at all). Nafteks is also like this.

BlueWhiteBlack, I thought you're just visiting a match here, I didn't know that you support HSV. :) I'm looking forward to you sharing your experience in Lovech. :D I watched the match on the TV and I know that I shouldn't judge the support only from it, but Litex fans made very poor performance. HSV fans on the contrary - they were singing all the time, though sometime only few people, but nice. Hehe, and a nice stripes tifo. :D

Great trip after all. Street Fighters didn't show up, rest of the fans friendly. Hamburg there witz 91 persons only singing oldschool chants. Everybody drunk and tired so the songs were not sung by all. It was like you all told me but that's a nice contrast to "normal" European matches. Topic can be closed.
