First big tifo of the year :)
Nice action but a little cooperation with each would be better at Marseille

Yes you're right
For example: Look at that group at the Virage Nord (1st picture) at the top, on the left side.. Fanatics is the name of that group I think. I don't know them, but look how little that group is and they're away from the other ultras.. If they would cooperate with the other groups, it will be nicer ;)
I mean this group:
FORZA_PSV - January 5, 2006 08:43 PM (GMT)
you're right look at this:
Groups (Members): Virage Sud: South Winners(5550);Commando Ultra(4500)
Virage Nord: Dodgers(2500);Fanatics(1500),MTP(3000)
Yankees(5000)
fanatics is the smalist group on nord ^_^
but it will be nice if there was on each side one group :D

New problems between Kar Sud and Tigris Mystic.

Troubles - The never-ending conflict between PSG fans has known its first episode of the year 2006. Before the game, at the entrances of the virage auteuil, fights errupted between members of Kar Sud (obviously helped by individuals - so non-members of the group i suppose) and Tigris Mystic when those last were about to enter their stands (?). Police intervened and restored order.

Lol the Fanatics are all dressed the same!!!!:p I think thats the main problem in the Virage Sud...noone is close to each other! How to do you wanna make a nice tifo when everyone is all over the place! They should unite and then there will be more place in the stands, which would give room to newer members.
Lazio Freak - January 6, 2006 02:23 PM (GMT)
I don't know if that's the problem. Marseille showed enough in the past that they can make brilliant tifo's. A too big group ( i suppose that would be around 10000 members each virage) would only make things more difficult, for instance in terms of agreements, communication, different opinions and views on things, etc.
lilmike - January 6, 2006 04:24 PM (GMT)
Ya but it wud unite everyone. The VS i know can make wonderful tifos. They make some almost every game and are very good using cards, but i find that the VN is not as united as VS.Its as if its every group for themselves and each group makes their own tifos.

You have a point. Sud only has two groups i think (CU84 and SW87), both huge groups and good quality. Nord has more groups and makes it perhaps more difficult. However, in the past they showed it can work, but for instance when Fanatics are with a small group it becomes difficult.

Yan i guess the CU and SW are more experienced bcuz arnt they the oldest groups in Marseille?

:si '84 and '87. Yankees is - like SW - since '87. Fanatics is '88.

Group created in 1994 by Patrice Deperetti, ex-capo of the winners and mythic leader of the ultra movment of marseille. They doesn't considere themself as ultras and a lot of theirs members come from the very populare north area of the town. They(re very festiv and could be violent when they have to be so.

Yeah Fabrice Deperetti is a "pionnier"(sorry for my english) of the move ultra in France
The Virage nord of Marseille is called "Virage Depé" hommage for him
New fight between the TM and the KarSud...

I read somewhere that Boulogne Boys + Kar Sud + 'independants' attacked the Tigris bus with sticks and bars. They stole some banners. Police intervened and restored order. Or did this happen a while ago?

No look at the top this happened against a match in Lens versus a 5th league club.
