I love history and specially war, so I open the topic to post here historical photos of your countries in war. I think that the most exciting pics are from the second world war but you can put any photo you think is great.
I start with some photos of Barcelona during the Spanish Civil War:

Some pictures of swedes in the spanish civil war. About 600 swedes went to fight for the republic, mostly communists, anarchists and syndicalists. Up to 200 of them was killed in action. The rest who returned after the war was met in the port of Gothenburg by a hundred thousand people despite the fact that travelling to fight for the spanish republic was highly illegal.

Just so we make it clear, I am not "antifa" I am working class. And as a worker I want the whole society to be controlled by us workers, and that is what socialism is.

The Provinces of North-Holland and South-Holland including cities like Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague suffer from starvation during the"Honger Winter" in the second world war in 1944. Nazi's cut off all food supply to these provinces in revenge for the Dutch people resistance towards the nazi's.

there is a good political thinker named Alexis de Tocqueville,who explains in 1835(!!) what democracy should be.some points i say above is what he told.it's really amazing how that problem is so real now.

No one can rule, that is what the "far left" is saying. It is impossible to keep doing what we are doing right now. The economic system is being torn apart by its own contradictions, capitalism is failing and failing bad at the moment.

The status quo is over, this path("the middle") will only leed to destruction for the people and every act of government today is an act to not loose control.

There will be a time when the choice will be between a strong authoritarian state or workers rule over the economy. The first choice is called the right wing path and it is created so that the capitalists still can keep control over their property.
Or we choose a different path were we still can have all the freedoms we want(democracy) but take away the property of the captialists and use it togheter for the benefit of all.

The conflict in captialism is always between capital and workers. Every act in society will be one that either benefits the workers or the capitalists.
Democracy today only stretches as far as the capitalists allow us too. In this crisis our democracy is already taken from us. The only way to restore it is to take control over the means of production.
