Title: Questions
Description: About German fan scene
Supporter[1966] - September 15, 2005 06:40 PM (GMT)
Last July I went to Hamburg to see the game between Hamburger SV and my team, União de Leiria. And I was a bit disappointed to see the performance of Hamburg supporters, at least one of their goups (the ones who are in the south stand of the stadium. I believe it isn't just one group but various groups in the same spot. I think they can do much better than they actually did. They were like 2000 ultras but they sang little for their "dimensions".
I really enjoyed seeing the "chosen few crew", very british style but they sang 90 min non-stop, really great!!
What are these groups like in away games in Germany?
What about their tifos?
Please reply

Hello,
Hamburg have two groups Chosen Few they and Poptown.
Chosen Few have a friendship to Ultras Hannover,Psychopathen Nürnberg
The ennemy number one is St.Pauli ,number 2 Bremen!
You want to know more?
Supporter[1966] - September 19, 2005 01:01 AM (GMT)
Thanks Phippo for your informations. I have already found some photos in this forum's galleries of both these groups. Really nice tifos there.
Cheers n'beers

Thanks for te compliments. But it is not only Chosen Few standing in sector 22c. It is some other groups, too.
Away matches the crews normally visit in a high number since it is a question of honour to support the team everywhere. The Number of Chosen Few travelling to Copenhagen was 70 for example which is round about 3/4 of the group. But numbers vary as you can think.
@ Phippo: Psychopathen Nürnberg are loose contacts of the older guys not a real friendship, I think.

What is about the group "Outsiders" ?
BlueWhiteBlack - October 21, 2005 12:55 PM (GMT)
Outsiders are sitting in the east.
Furio - October 21, 2005 03:14 PM (GMT)
Are th Outsiders an Ultragroup? Because i see them only on pics ...
And if i where in Hamburg i can´t identify them!
BlueWhiteBlack - November 18, 2005 03:22 PM (GMT)
They do not see themselves as an Ultras group and they are no hooligan group. Ask them.

Would you guys give me a little explanation of theyre ultras - group(s) ?
Thanks
cootje - February 9, 2006 10:47 AM (GMT)
they have a very good group and the name is Wilde Horde, foundation in 1996, website www.wh96.de, Block S3 is there terrace, the have an own fanzine cald Mentalita Kölsch, the are friends with supras autieul, I fought that Frankfurt were there big enemies but I am not sure
hope you can do something with the information and I am sure that others like furio have info for you to!
Furio - February 9, 2006 12:00 PM (GMT)
The Wilde Horde is the main group, a other group are the Boyz Köln. WH have at the moment big problems with their club and with diffidatis.
The WH is still a good group, but i´ve heared at the moment the atmosphere is not so good!
The biggest Rivals are Mönchengladbach,Leverkusen and especially the WH are ennemies of Ultras Frankfurt and Ultras Dynamo (and the most other eastern scenes).
More questions?

lilmike - February 11, 2006 06:45 PM (GMT)

They don't like Celtic or Sankt Pauli so they must be :nope
I would just ignore our resident loon CB as he like most Celtic fans probably couldn't tell you anything about the history or the players of Sankt Pauli. Only likes them as it is cool and somehow makes him more antifa.
parkhead_bear - May 24, 2006 07:54 AM (GMT)
@lilmike- it means Nazi's Leave
BlueWhiteBlack - May 31, 2006 11:33 AM (GMT)
Yeah, we all are Nazis. As well as all Celts have no dicks.
What a poor try. Perhaps the little bhoy should better use his free time to learn for school before talking shit about others he doesn't even know. But this is only a suggestion.
Meinungsfaschisten raus! Or for you, sweetheart: "Opinion fascists out!"

they'd also be enemies with anything concerned with Düsseldorf, since those cities have hated eachother for many years.

if you think of the game in January(Köln-Lev) its a bad Idea to visit Cologne.
WH96 and Ultras Lev will boycott the match...so there will be no good atmosphere.

Hi there
We have been given the draw from heaven although from your perspective maybe a boring draw :D
I would just like to know what Bayern is like from away fans perspective, will we get banners in OK, if we wanted to do a display is there any restrictions.
Would be interested to read any English language perspective of any Ultras linked with Bayern too B)
Kind regards
http://www.redultras.net
scfriend - December 24, 2007 05:18 PM (GMT)
flares and smoke won't be allowed (obviously)
banners you should be fine, but i'm not sure what it's like at the Allianz Arena
i'd go for the card display like you did against Rangers at home. :beer
Ghost - December 25, 2007 10:44 AM (GMT)
Banners are allowed, but onlky behind the fans not in front of them, because banners would commercials not seen. But if are enough people, also this is no problems. In this fucking "arena" is nothing else allowed. Funny also that you can buy a sausage or a beer but it is not allowed to take it in the sector.
I am sorry for you, boring choose for you!
RUL - December 26, 2007 09:08 AM (GMT)
We will just have to make the most of it.
Has anyone used smokes/flares at the arena previously? What is the punishment in germany for being caught doing such an offence?

Just try it, Normally they don't do much with away fans form other countries. But first you must try to smuggle the flare inside, thats the hardest part

Usually security check ain't that hard in Munich. But inside they have about 62 (I think) cameras to observe the fans. Visitors from abroad shouldn't expect too hard charge for smokebombs. You will be thrown out and get a stadium ban, perhaps you get jailed for the rest of the evening. Since Munich is Bavaria nevertheless one should be careful since Police and laws there are very restrictive. Anyway I do not know anybody who was caught for using flares. Card displays have to be announced to the club.
The stadium is a hole of shit. Gotta get a card you can pay with. The only thing I have in mind positively is the "Hacker Pschorr Fan Treff" which is like a big Bavarian beer hall near the guest sector. In spite of the fact you also have to pay with the card it is kinda nice athmosphere if you are there with a bigger group of lads. Beer is not as expensive as I know it from Hamburg and they have good food. But wait... it's an international match so don't expect alcoholic beer.
Best way to celebrate the trip would be to stay in the city centre and sit in a Brewery like Augustiner Keller, Bayrischer Donisl or in the (Boxing) Café Schiller near Central Station. Don't expect to be successful in getting into the Hofbräuhaus. They don't like fans to be their guests. So don't waste your time with it.
By the way: Call yourself lucky if you don't leave Munich before 23rd February. The 5th season in Munich is the "Starkbierzeit" (strong beer season) which will be opened from 22nd February...
RUL - February 29, 2008 04:24 PM (GMT)
A few flares were let off and one fan got caught on cctv and fined 150 euros on the spot.
Another few not so lucky were caught with smokes before getting into game and had to paid out too.
One fan let of flare in city centre and was kept in until after the game.

greets my germans friends.
i guess there are someone who present bayern munchen ultras... i want to know how many bayern fans are going to make a trip to st-petersburg for the return match?
i wonder also how many places will be given for russian fans, will it be 10% from all the stadium's capacity so ~6000 places or 5% so ~3000
thank you. if you have any question you can ask me there.
also this topic will be usefull to post some photos after matches.
cheers
