Ok I dont know if I am posting in the right place but I wish to know more about Besiktas Ultras, Casri.

What is their politics. are they anarchists? I say this because of the A symbol they use in their logo. When were they set up and are they still going/strong?

I have herd a lot of rumours about Carsi and I do not know what is true or false. Any information would be helpful. Thank you :correct

YURUYEDUR - March 12, 2011 12:48 AM (GMT)
What rumors did you hear about them? I would like to know, then I will tell you everything about them.

The simple facts: Carsi was formed in 1982, their political affiliation is left wing, they are mostly anarchists, most of there members have always took place in union workers riots in Turkey (similar to the ones in Greece), they are still strong and are actually considered one of the most dangerous supporters in Turkey. They have been notoriously known for having internal conflicts amongst there members which has even led to murder. In 2003-2004 match a fellow besiktas fan 16 years old was stabbed to death by carsi ultras and the latest case was in January 2011 when the main stands leader Alen Makaryan (who is actually an Armenian) was shot several times in the chest however he survived. Several cArşı members also supported Paoks gate 4 during there match against fenerbahce during this seasons europa league playoff match in Istanbul 2nd leg game.

I have heard that one member was shot in the leg by another. I know they are very loud, especially when they played Liverpool. I had heard that Carsi was becoming so big it was overshadowing the football team and they had decided to stop because of this. I assume that this is not true?

I hought their politics was left and probably anarchist, but did not know about the workers protests. Is Carsi named after a place/village?

YURUYEDUR - March 12, 2011 05:10 PM (GMT)
The Carsi group is known for VERY loud support, they are probably the most loudest supporters in the world they chant 90 minutes non stop. Their supporting is very similar to the English style than it is to the Italian Ultras style.

The Besiktas president Yildirim Demiroren has to support Carsi and must accept whatever the groups wants, he and his family have received many death threats throughout the years by Carsi for not complying with their wishes.

Carsi is named after a Bazaar in Istanbul European district in Besiktas

Im a stoke city fan travelling to besiktas in december for our final Europa League game. What sort of reception will we encounter? Are they as bad as the other 2 big turkish teams???

ZBARAN - October 11, 2011 08:26 AM (GMT)
Turkish ppl are hospitable. No one is looking for fight if you stay cool.

Drughi Bianconeri - October 11, 2011 01:08 PM (GMT)
We dont like English teams. and you are one of them.

None is looking for a fight. you can come to Istanbul and support your team.

There will be nothing bad about you. it depends you. keep stay cool

and the other 2 Turkish teams are angels if you compare them with Besiktas.

We are going to fuck bastard Crouch. and your fucking manager who does not that Istanbul is part of Europe.

but there is no problem between fans.

First of all I am sorry that I have started a new topic and thereby making this forum even more confusing and annoying!

I just realised that I'm in Turkey the 27th october when Beşiktaş is playing at home against Fenerbahçe. Is it possible to get tickets for this match and if it is possible then what is the easiest way to get tickets?

Drughi Bianconeri - October 12, 2011 12:54 PM (GMT)
first of all well come to Turkey.

it's the biggest derby of Istanbul between fans. so in normal Tickets will be sold maximum 30-40 min. it used to sold within 15 min last years. but these season Besiktas couldnt sold many season tickets. so but still all tickets will be sold.

it's not easy to get tickets. in normal you can get ticket from this link

http://web03.biletix.com/search/TURKIYE/tr...ORT&qt=standard

or if you are going to be in Istanbul before 2-3 days from matchday. you can buy from some tickets points.

or I suggest you this. Where are you come from ? There are some fan club in Europe has a tour for that game. you can get contact with them. at least you can get ticket from them.

from London,Berlin,Brussel and Zurich fans clubs have tour for that match.

SrpskaUltra - October 14, 2011 02:28 AM (GMT)

Leeds -Galata?Arsenal and Galata?'Ring a bell???

ZBARAN - October 14, 2011 09:28 AM (GMT)
Leeds fans put Turkish money in their asses and provacate. Arsenal fans started fight, so Galatasaray fans responed.
Otherwise Turks don't look for fight.
When Liverpool played CL final in İstanbul against Milan couple years ago, Liverpool fans were drinking beer in Taksim Square with Turks.
We are actually good to every foreigner coming to Turkey, if they act cool.
If you behave good to a us, we behave better to you.

Is that why Turks began randomly attacking Croatian supporters after the match against Croatia in Euro 2008

Those were the old days. Now big penalties when you light a flare. Police takes you out of the stadium to the police station. And 500€ punishment. And maybe they take your season tickets. Also you can be watched by cameras. Strict rules here... <_<

Correct that Carsi at one stage decided to disband but later came back as too many other people were trying to take control of the terrace.

if you ask for all categories(vocal, away attendance, visuality etc.) i can say fenerbahce fans are one step ahead for know... b'cuz g.saray fans have some problems in theirselves that long story to explain... but it doesn't mean this situation will keep for ever...

but if you ask for ultras mentality, i think g.saray fans have more troubles than us in this issue... b'cuz their real ultra boys stay in shadow of ultraslan, which is biggest fan group of galatasaray... there's a well-known fact that this group mostly act improperly for ultras mentality as contrary of their foundation and name... also they prevent the real ultra groups activities by using violence... so nowadays GS ultras have no way to show themselves freely b'cuz of being under repression of ultraslan...

but fenerbahce ultras are more independent and effective in terraces than their rivals... our famous ultra groups named gruppo ck, vamos-bien, 1907 gençlik(1907 youth) and other unnamed ultras make their activities without any pressure from their mates... also they have to struggle with club's administration, police and governments but that's subject of a different discussion :D

GFB is the main group. But makes no pressure on other groups.
Also GFB has big problems with president, club-management, police. A lot of top-man of GFB banned from entering stadium last year.

Couple years ago club-president sent some guys with knives into the stand to attack GFB members. And after the conflict they banned GFB members from stadium for a year.

This year our president is in jail, so no problem.

old turkey was one of the most solid groups, but they fell victim to industrial football, many group members between the ages of 30-45, as the former, yet the organization is still in progress, of course, knows better than Fenerbahce friends
