Just saw it on the news flash, heard many deads. What happend and why did they riot?

it was done by Christians
at first the reason is demolishing a church due to misleading (for example they said this land is for a house but they built a church which is illegal )
The Christians organized a demonstrating at Cairo then a huge riot between them and military
about 24 men died and 180 injuries
media as usual tries to make a civil war between Muslims and Christians
they said that Christian were armed and killed many of army lads so Muslim (most of them) is sympathized with military force

No, christians rioting got killed by army and hired interior ministry agents. The old power elite in egypt is trying to create these religious riots as to create anarchy in the country so they can more easily take it over again.
It is counter-revolutionary tactics. They give help to the extremist islamists/salafists so they attack christians and then the "grand military" can ride in and save the day...
And after a while they get this counter-reaction from the christians, and then they have the counter-revolution in motion.
Just like the US got the shia and sunni-muslims fighting each other instead of fighting the occupation by the US.

the army was running over people by vehicles & tanks .. just like what happened in the revolution , everyone says the old regime is back
and for the media .. they told the biggest joke in the history by asking people to protect "the army" from "the christan protesters" ^_^
