I know you or some other Greek members might not like me saying this but in so many ways Greece = Turkey
The corruption is same.
Like you pointed out they are the only fans supporting a "guilty" team. Well in Turkey Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray are just the same.
Fener president is in prison and the fans all walked in support for him.
GS fans still protect their ex- presidents and board members that all Turkey know fixed games.
They just want titles, they don't care how they get it.
On the other hand Besiktas fans did a declaration the day our manager was took to court. The declaration said:
"We are the "clean" team in Turkey, we are famous for loosing many titles to other teams because of them fixing games. So İf any of our manager, player or president has even had the smallest effect in dirty corruption, we will be the first ones to fine them"
Before court, before police we will punish them if they are guilty. Until they proven guilty we are at a distance and we want them to put a distance between our club until they are clean."
You see the difference.
Sorry for a bit of off-topic. İt's just when you said "those fans are the only ones who support a guilty president" it made me think how the situation in Greece now is so similar to Turkey now.
We also don't know when the league is even going to start because we don't know what teams will be punished or not.
