http://www.pyrotechnik-legalisieren.de/blog/The campaign is supported by more than half of the Ultrà scenes. As far as i know, there were two meetings until now and the DFB (German football association) says, that they are willing to talk to the involved Ultras. They were also given a statement about how the Ultras want to use pyro and how it could work safely. 5 football clubs support the campaign, plus the Fanprojects and ProFans (one of the big Fans associations). There´s not so much attention paid by the media, but it`s changing a bit from associating it with violence to more objectivity.
I think, the campaign will not be successfull or at least it will not be like we would expect it to be (pyro not allowed on the terraces, not during the match, etc.). At the moment there`s quite a lot of pyro, but every action is punished by the DFB. There`s also the risk of being banned for 3 years and of having to pay the sentences, which the clubs receive and that can get extremely expensive. I would be satisfied with an acceptance of pyro although if it remains forbidden. A legalization doesn`t fit into the Germany mentality.
