Hi, thanks for answer. why Grimonprez being destroyed? i think Grimonprez is better than new Lille Metropole stadium. the new stadium looks like empty in the match.

When the club became bought out by new owners, the new owners didn't want to redevelop the old stadium but wanted a brand new one even though there was a lot of protest and court battles when it was demolished.

that is very bad when new owner that come with a lot of money can push what they want to do although many fans don't want it.

Yes u are absolutely right on that, Grimonprez Jooris had soul and its rich history, but Lille metrope stadium is a disgrace... Hopefully, a new big stadium is about to be built...
