He admitted doing it, the police over there only kept the wrong person imprisoned because they seen it as some sort of ransom.

The story didn't even piece together to suggest it was Michael, they just needed someone to blame for the crime and he was the unlucky one.

I guess he can look on the bright side - he is going to live many years of his life with a few quid in his back pocket.

The guy who did commit the offense is called Graham Sankey. He admitted to the charge when back in Liverpool, knowing he could not be touched by authorities whilst back in Britain. That is why he was not arrested.

We want him to be arrested and justice to be done, it has nothing to do with 'smashing people in eastern europe and getting away with it' it's the fact that an innocent man has gone to jail for a crime he did not to come. Justice wasn't done for michael, nor was it done for giorgev. Michael said yesterday in a radio interview that he wanted to meet giorgev to help clear his name.

As far as i'm concerned now michael is free the trial should be re-opend and graham sankey charged.

Also, nobody 'helped' micheal. He just confessed when back on home soil.

Michael had never met Sankey before, didn't know who he was.
