I don't know if anyone here outside of Pal follows the NFL at all, but given what
just happened in Seattle, I figured a thread might be worth having?
I mean, we already have one upset this weekend - 1/1, so far. The 7-9 Seattle Seahawks (now 8-9) just beat the New Orleans Saints (11-5 ... now 11-6). Seattle was the first sub-500 playoff entrant in a non-strike season, and they are the first sub-500 team to win a playoff game. (There were 2 such teams in the strike-shortened ... '87 season, I think?)
Anyhow, I just got home from work, turned on the game, and was flabbergasted at the score. At that point, it was 41-30, and the final was 41-36. Still, Seattle? Beating big & bad New Orleans?
Really?
Regardless, I'm very happy for Matt Hasselbeck - who used to backup You Know Who in Green Bay. It sounds like this is probably his last season, and I'm very happy to see him at least get one more playoff win.

(I'll update this thread as I can, but I'm working tomorrow too, so I won't get those games posted until they're both over, probably.)
