By order of his Royal Altanari Majesty, King Aelkyn, the Altanari Ministry of State has hereby designated a section of the capital city, Ael Khalas, to be the Diplomatic Section of the city.

Any and all nations interested in establishing formal diplomatic relations with the Kingdom of Altanar are encouraged to select a suitable location within the Diplomatic Section to build their embassy.

Formal exchanging of ambassadors and embassies may be coordinated with the office of the Minister of State, Nelron Khiskithy, at the address or telephone number above. On behalf of his Majesty and the people of Altanar, we thank you for your consideration and friendship.

The PDSR Ariddia would be most pleased to establish diplomatic relations with the Kingdom of Altanar. We would like to send Ambassador Luc Châtelet as our representative, and would request that you name an ambassador to Ariddia in return.

In furtherance of this, His Royal Highness has designated Ms. Truddlit Zwedvek as our ambassador-designate. Ms. Zwedvek is a very experienced member of our Foreign Service. She is a member of the Ulrhek race, one of the several non-dwarven races that make up a small but highly valued portion of our population. Cool! What program did you use to create that? Is it the same one that you used for your national map?

It's a program called Photoimpact (it's a wannabe Photoshop-type program). I used it for my map too....I pretty much use it for all my graphics.

Oh, btw, each "square" represents an area the size of four normal city blocks in my capital city, so each embassy gets a pretty big chunk of land to work with.

4 blocks?!!! thats a lot of room for a Stuffed animal...even one that might be as cosmically signifigant as Winslow. :) I thought you might prop up the old boy on a tabletop or bookcase.

Those are nifty maps, Kelssek....I want to do maps of my capital as well, but that's a project further down the road.

As for Winslow, the Altanari strongly suspect that a joke is being played on them, but don't want to offend another nation by asking the obvious "you gotta be kidding, right?" question. Their time in the UN has made them realize just how crazy some nations can be, so they took it at face value. They would've just built a really small building on the plot of land reserved for the embassy and placed him on a table or something. :lol:

Lord Julius wouldn't have been offended...he would have just reponded with a very innocent look and a mighty,"I haven't the foggiest idea what you mean?" :lol:
