Tree Tops of Lizeron

[Jade of the Trees]

A brand new holiday has been established today in honour of all the outsiders who are now members of Lizeron! For those of you who were unaware of this, people outside of the village (outsiders) haven't entered Lizeron since Lizeron's founder (Sage Shimmertree) was alive generations ago. Now is the time to celebrate all of those who have just became a part of Lizeron and those who make it what it is today, the natives. There will be much to do during the days of this celebration from socilizing to shopping! Keep checking back, you never know what additions may be added to the celebration that you can participate in. For now, you may get to know the natives and other villagers and there are a few items you can take for free!

This celebration's location: A large openeing in the forest where a large fountain sits, giving everyone a pleasing mist in this warm weather. You can sit on the soft grass around the fountain or sit up in the top of the trees where you can admire the magnifacent view of nearby mountains and the entire forest of Lizeron. Vines are also hanging all around that are strong enough to hang from and can lead up to surrounding platforms of shops and small places to eat.

Events going on: For now you may mingle with others and get to know them or have a bite to eat! Soon other exciting events will go on but you will have to wait to see what they are. An admin will post when another event begins. There is a platform in the trees where you can choose from some things to eat. You can buy:

Fruit salad- 20 sc
Stuffed Banana- 25 sc
Roasted Pinapple- 25 sc
Veggie and Meat Stew- 20 sc
Rolls with Butter- 20 sc
Slice of Traditional Lizeron Cake- 25 sc
Lemon Tea- 10 sc
Strawbery Punch- 10 sc
Water- 5 sc

There are also baskets with a few items in it that you may take for free! These baskets contain:

200 sc
A batch of Cookies (15 total cookies)
A Scented candle
And a Paper Multi-colored Lantern

Shawna walks up to the celebration and looks around slowly, taking in everything that was going on. She noticed the free gift basket and pulled out the 200sc. She knew that she was poor and that she would need more money if she was going to survive. She walked around a little after that, waiting for more people to arrive.

Ooc: You get each of the items in the basket I decided to be generous this time!

Never in her life had Jade seen such a beautiful place to have a celebration. She climbed up a large tree to the food platform. She looked over the list of foods, trying to decide which she should buy. They all looked so good to her! She decided to spoil herself with a roasted pineapple and lemon tea for 35 sc. She walked along as she ate in search of something to do. She grabbed a gift basket, in hopes that it would contain soemthing of use to her. The money was nice and while the cookies, candle, and lantern weren't the most practical items, they were still nice to have around. At last she found a seat in a tree branch that could just reach the refreshing mist of the fountain. She looked around to see if anyone else was at the celebration yet and found Shawna. Not wanting to leave her perfect seat, though, she remained where she was. She didn't want to disturb her anyway.

Yuna didnt want to go to this celebration but she didnt have anything better to do,so she came anyway.She aproached the free baskets with gifts and took one.She was happy for the 200 sc. These are going to be helpfull...I need more money she thought with a soft smile on her face.She looked arround her to see who else is here.She saw only two people who she didnt knew so she decided to sit down and enjoy the view.

Faly could smell the food from miles away, and finally she gave in to her hunger and approached the festival. Glancing around, she spotted a small platform high up in one of the trees...and it had alot of different foods to eat. "Ok, I'll just get something to eat and go." The festival was still a bit empty, but more and more people would be soon showing up. On her way to the vine, she spotted a small gift basket with the words "Free!" all over it. "Free?" stopping for a second, she looked around, and slowly walked over and picked up the basket. "I wonder if there is anything good in here?" She shifted though the small wooden gift basket and found 200 sc, a batch of Cookies (15 total cookies), a scented candle, and a Paper Multi-colored Lantern. "Money can be of some use...cookies...a candle?...and a lantern. Hmm...why not." Finally, she decided to take the basket, but felt stupid carrying it around so she left it by the edge of the forest. She would pick it up when she was done. Making her way up to the food platform, she spotted both Jade and Shawna...and someone else who looked a bit farmiliar. "Oh well, as long as they don't see me...I can get away from here soon. But first..." she went and bought the rolls with butter, and took 20g from her 200g and slid it across the table, finding a tree high above the noisy celebration, hoping she wasn't noticed.

And now it is time for the festivities to begin! To start off the celebration, a small shop seems to come out of nowhere on one of the platforms. A mysteriouse looking man with a cloak draped over his body and face is running the shop. He doesn't talk much but a small wooden sign hangs above him from a tree. It reads:

The Shop of Mystery and Fortune

You wonder what on earth that could mean. A list of items is below the sign and though their prices are high, they will be of great use to you in the near future and you may never come upon the opertunity to purchase one again.

All the items in this shop fall under the catagory of 'Rare Items'

Gem of Ige- 800 S.C.
This rare gem glows brightly when covered by darkness, but when in the light is a dull gray color. It looks like something of great power yet there doesn't appear to be a way to activate the power.

Marafigna Bracelet- 1000 S.C.
This trinket fits tightly around the wrist of any who wear it. It's nothing more than a red, sturdy cloth band with six black spikes evenly placed around it. It appears to be of no power but then again, you can never be too sure...

Bottle of Rinth- 1100 S.C.
This item has a certain inner beauty to it that can't easily be described. It is a small bottle with a faint glow coming out of it. The cap on the top of it is sealed and can't be opened nor can the bottle break. It doesn't seem to serve much of a purpose.

The Elath's True Zoige- 1000
This item appears to be a flute of some sort, but the sound it makes is just a faint whistling noise. Tiny carvings of trees and animals cover it entirely. This flute only makes one sound though, as none of the carved holes seem to do a thing.

Passage of Yigek- 950 S.C.
This simple paper fan when folded up is the color of the sky but when unfolded has simple paintings of people and animals in backrounds of the great beauty of the world around us. Ancient scripts also cover this fan that can't be decoded just yet.

Yathel Globe- 1000 S.C.
This small silver colored ball doesn't seem to be much at first site but as you look closer, tiny images can be seen in the silvery substance. Waves are commenly seen in it and sometimes entire scenes of runnign water and rivers can be seen.

The Pearl of Nuikegie- 100 S.C.
The most inexpensive of all the items, and simplest too. It is nothing more than a small round pearl that changes color as you turn it.

In the distance a large group of natives can be seen. They seem to be arranging something else for the celebration but you will have to wait to see what becomes of it.

Ooc: The items from the shop are rare... I thought I would let you know before I add it incase you have read it already...

The crowd seemed to be growing as Jade sat in her tree. She spotted Faly and another girl whom she had never met. She began to climb down from the tree to greet them when she noticed a new shop had appeared. Didn't see that coming... she thought as she stared at the shop and the shady looking figure in charge of it, Maybe they have some things that could be of use to me. She made her way towards the shop and began browsing the unusual items. They looked like nothing she had ever seen before, but they seemed to have some sort of power to them, though it was hard to explain. She decided to purchase a Yathel Globe and The Pearl of Nuikegie for 1100 S.C. She walked away, holding the globe as she stared at tiny images of waves and rivers revealing themselves in the tiny sphere. She pocketed the tiny pearl for safe keeping.

Faly saw Jade buying a few items at a shop that seemed to appear from nowhere, and noticed the owner of the stand cloaked, obviously he wasn't here for the celebration. She could see all of the items from her tree, and they all looked useless....but a few caught her eye. A wooden flute and a red cloth bracelet. She checked to see if she had any money...a bit. Well, what else am I going to use it for? She pushed off the branch and landed a mear 30 feet away, on the platform of the small shop. She saw Jade walking away, a few items in her hand "Yo Jade." She picked up the flute and the bracelet, and noticed a small pearl. "Why not...its only 100 S.C. ain't it?" She showed the items to the shady figure and handed him 2100 S.C., and though it seemed like alot...she could always make more. She placed the bracelet firmly around her wrist, and the flute around her waist. As for the pearl...she'd just keep it for now.

As Yuna was admiring the view,Skye made a loud noise and pointed at something with his head.As Yuna turned arround to see what was he pointing at she saw the strange shop. I didnt see that before... She aproached the shopkepper and looked at all the items. They look like they are magical... She thought.The Gem of Ige caught her eye so decided to buy it.When she reached into her pocket to take out the 800 sc Skye jumped from her shoulder,took The Pearl of Nuikegie into his beak and looked at her with puppy eyes."Okay we will take that too...afterall,it is only 100 sc" She gave the man 900 sc and took the items.Skye seemed pleased.As she was walking away she exsamined the pearl It is kinda beautifull... She though to herself.

Not long after the opening of the shop, A few natives up in trees begin to blow loud horns signalling the start of the parade. Natives of Lizeron start marching from the trees into the field from all directions dressed in traditional native attire. Soon they all seem to form a line and begin marching around the field playing loud flutes and horns with a steady constent drum beat. They are all carrying large flags of green and bronze color with the occasional gold and blue that sway gently in the breeaze. As the music grows, they begin waving the flags up high to show the brilliant colors. Soon more natives swing from vine to vine just above the other natives' heads. It really is quite a display and soon they all begin throwing tiny slips of paper that appear to be confetti. Once you catch it, though, you realize it is really a message of some sort... (An admin will tell each person what it says once they post)

[Cami and Cali]

Cami walked up to the party. She just had got away from her sister who was sleeping at this time. She went over to the baskets and picked up one. Then she walked over to a huge rock by a fire and sat down, bringing her basket and setting it down. She didn't feel like mingling at the time. She sat. Absorbing the fire's energy into her eyes, like gain power to manipulate people to listen to her when talking, for as long as she has the fire in her eyes it seemed people were manipulated easily. She sat there absorbing, yet showing no emotion. All of a sudden her ears started to show and so did her tail and wings, yet she paid no attention, until, poof, the fire went out. She absorbed it so much she caused it to be no more. She sat there wondering how people would respond.
