Wading. That's what she was doing. What Shawna was doing to get away from the troubles of life. Her troubles you may ask... Her past and what may come from her future. She was taking a break from everything. From the prophecy and what was soon to become of her future. From her home and the empire she had ruled over. The one that she had left her uncle and mentor Demiricous to look over for her while she was gone. While she was taking her break.

She waded through the water near the falling water that was the waterfall. It fell around her, chilling her naked body. She prayed that no one could see her in this state. What would they think of her? Her clothes and a towel laid under a tree near the bank of waterfall far enough away from the falling water so they wouldn't get wet.

She took a deep breath and plunged beneath the surface of the water. Her body went into a deep shock from the chill of the water taking over her body. She let it take her and let her body fall to the bottom of the water.

Jade found her life becoming busier and busier being a Fawole. It wasn't even the life that she wanted much anymore but there was no other option. She could finally escape now, though, and what better way to spend her free time than at Oakroot Falls. She sat high in a tree far from the ground and gazed down at the falls. The water seemed to hypnotize her and it was as if she wasn't even looking at it anymore but instead lost in a dream world of some sort. She finally snapped out of it when she realized someone was in the water. She couldn't tell who it was but then again, she really didn't know anyone in the village other than the natives. She felt awkward approaching anyone she hadn't met yet so instead she grabbed the closest vine and swung to another tree. She was trying to get the girl's attention to see how she would react and if she would be rude or polite. She loved to test people she didn't know.

Faly had just awoke from a dreamless sleep to the sounds of Oakroot Falls. Slowly opening her eyes, she heard a noise in the bushes and jolted upright, dagger in hand. She silently awaited the preditor to show itself, and she let out a sigh of relief when all that appeared was a small squirrel, unaware of the danger it was in. About to attack, she pulled back her arm and...no. She returned the dagger to its rightful spot around her waist and sat back down. She had just become Fawole not so long ago, and killing animals when she didn't need to was unthinkable to the natives. With nothing to do she started towards the falls, listening to the never ending song of the forest. Lizeron, eh? She had only been here for a week and already she found herself rather bored. I wonder what there is to do around here... Lucky for her, nobody had really approached her since she became...whatever it is the leader was called. She hadn't taken the time to pay attention to anything the people had told her. Why should she? When she reached the edge of the forest, she scanned the water for any possible living thing, and though she saw nothing, she had a feeling she wasn't alone. "If anyone's around here, they better come out now."

The echoing sounds of Faly could be heard all over the falls. Jade was sure of that. She new she would soon be revealed whether she answered or not and the person in the water would know she was there. "And why is it that I should, Faly of the wolves?" she called out to her with a strong and loud voice. She didn't know why but she seemed to like calling Faly by her "full name" if you can call it that. Maybe because it was only appropriote for her, being almost a wolf herslf. She stopped swinging form the branches and sat down on a branch, her feet propped up on a higher one. She grabbed a large fruit from the tree that was brownish and color and rotting. She began tossing it up in the air and catching it as it fell as she waited for Faly's response.

"And why is it that I should, Faly of the wolves?"

Faly glared in Jade's direction, knowing where she was just by following her voice. She was easily angred, and couldn't stand Jade, all she did was talk. She spoke in a threatning tone "Cuz if you don't I'll come to you, and that wouldn't be a very pretty sight now would it?" she knew she wouldn't scare Jade, she was to ignorant to understand her treats, so she started over towards the tree she was sitting in. If only Sin and Shadow were here... She had left her wolves by her tree to rest for a while. She wouldn't be so cocky then, now would she? She lept over the flowing river and landed smoothly on the opposite bank. She quickly spotted the tree and smiled.

Shawna heard a few shouts and a the rustle of a few trees. She took a battle pose under the water and swam towards the bank. She quickly got out and hid behind a tree drying off and pulling on her clothes; A pair of knee length khaki shorts, a black t-shirt, and her boots that buckled in the back.

"Who treads nearby?" She shouted to the two people glaring at each other. She reached into her pocket for her pocketknife, but could not find it.

She had been startled by the noise, having led herself to believe that she was alone, and that no one would follow her out to the falls. This arguing led her to believe that those arguing were not friends. Maybe they were foes... Maybe one was an enemy whilst the other was a good person?

"Now Faly, theres no reason to be upset," She replied calmly, "It isn't like you couldn't see me anyway!" She remained where she was, still tossing the rotted fruit up and down until she heard a differenet voice nearby of the person in the water. "Who treads nearby?" called the other voice. "Nothing more than the two Fawole of these trees and possibly the two most subborn people you will ever meet," She called back, and her thoughts once again turned to Faly. She knew Faly's wolves were surely nearby. Faly would simply be lost without them. Faly could be so stubborn at times, taking offence to everything. Jade just couldn't seem to understand her at all sometimes and knew it wasn't right for the two Fawoles of Lizeron to not get along but couldn't help it. It was just they way the two of them were and nothing would change that.

"Nothing more than the two Fawole of these trees and possibly the two most subborn people you will ever meet,"

"Two Fawole. Arguing?" Shawna repeated, laughing out loud. "You have got to be kidding me!" She fell to the ground, laughing hysterically. She pulled herself up and walked towards the two people.

"Hello stubborn Fawole's! I am Shawna. And am finally glad to meet you!"

"Well, I don't think the truth is all that funny," she replied, with a small smile, "But I guess some may find it odd." She threw the fruit and grabbed a nearby vine. She held it firmly in her hand and swung down in front of Shawna. She didn't say anything, just stared. She was trying to figure out all she could about her without saying a word. She didn't see any point in wasting time speaking.

This was true, but she didn't like how Jade was talking to her. In the end, she decided to ignore her when she heard hystarical laughter from the girl who called herself Shawna. "Yo, I'm Faly, but I don't really care who you are. I'll probably just forget about you in a day's time." She looked at Shawna, then at Jade, and walked over to a nearby tree. She sat down and layed back against the trunk looking across the other side of the river and pulled out a flute from what looked like nowhere. Already feeling relaxed, she started to play a tune, summoning her wolves.

"I am one of those who finds it funny. A village must have two leaders who can get along." Shawna said choosing her words carefully.

"Faly, I believe you are mistaken. I have been accepted as a sort of moderator for this village. You will be seeing a lot of me. And I have an intention of excelling at the battle academy. That you run!"

Faly stopped playing her flute for a moment and looked over at Shawna. "Oh, right" Great. She would be stuck with her in the academy. "Just because i'll be seeing alot of you two doesn't mean I'm going to be nice to you." she replied, putting on a stubborn face. Those guys are so annoying.... Resuming her restfull postition, she placed the flute to her lips and began playing the same song. Where are they? She was looking for her wolves across the river.

OOC: sorry if i'm not on alot, my dad isnt letting me on the computer so i'll try to sneak away to the library as much as possible wink.gif

"I don't see why you have to be so rude, Faly. We never did anything to offend you," She said. Her voice remained calm. She knew it was no use shouting, but she felt angry inside. She climbed up to the nearest tree and sat down in a lower branch, awaiting a reply of some sort, but she wouldn't be at all suprised if she didn't get one.

"You really think I'm not that strong don't you? You don't know of my past and what was supposedly to become of my future." Shawna said, staring hard at Faly. She didn't expect an answer. She had learned through her training that you didn't need an answer to know what people were gonna say or going to do.

Ooc: Do you mind if my character was a strong fighter in her past and that I posted about it?

Faly ignored them both, figuring it was no use to fight with them. And no Jade, they had done nothing to offend her, but she still thought they were annoying and there was no use trying to make friends. Whats the point? She finished playing the tune and set down her flute, staring impatiently at the trees. Finally, she spotted two wolves across the river, one white and one black. "Well, it seems my kin have finally arrived, so if you still think you're so tuff, i'll take you on right here, right now!" She stood up, walking closer to Shawna, watching as her wolves crossed a nearby bridge and stood faithfully by her side.
