Massie sat on a rock, opened her book and began to read. She was reading her favorite book, Renolds Wish. She was in the middle of her chapter when a gush of wind came and knocked her book right out of her hand. Massie bent down to pick up her book and her envelope fell out of her pocket! "no!" massie shouted as the envelope tumbled across the feild. Massie picked up her book and chased the envelope. In the envelope there was 1,000 dollars in cash. She had saved up for a series of books called " Je Vous Dre Un Misrebles" . They were expensive because they were over 2000 years old. Massie had been waiting to get her hands on those books since she had laid eyes on them. Massie heard water and knew they were near a stream. Massie chased the envelope but couldnt catch it. The envelope kept tumbleing. Massie saw someone in the distance but couldnt make out who it was. "CATCHHH THATT ENVELOPEEEEEEEE" massie screamed. Massie couldnt stop to catch her breath and she had forgotten her inhaler.

The envalope came right to her, and Faly grasped it between her fingers, looking at it briskly. It seemed a bit thick, and she opened it, and stared at the money inside. "You think this money means anything around here?" she asked to the person in the distance. "We have our own money system here in Lizeron, and this...this has no use here." Maybe the girl had reasons of her own for possessing this money, but she couldn't think of a reason to want it. "So...do you really need it back? Or..." she walked lightly over to the river "...should I just, I don't know, drop it in the river?" Faly sneered, and wondered what the girl would do next. Looking to both of her sides, she remembered her wolves on either side of her, and when they were around she felt like no one could do anything to her. Maybe this was true...it was like having her own bodyguards who'd give their own life for her. Sure they were just wolves but they were like family. "Or, if you prefer, you can meet my kin." she said still sneering.

Massie felt goose bumps go up her spine and felt herself began to almost cry. "pp--puhh-puhleesse can i have my envelope, i not only have a house here but i have a house in France and i have been saving up for a book, please may i have it back" massie said almost in tears. Massie didnt move a muscle she was standing stiff and straight. Massie wanted to cry but wouldnt let herself. Massie saw the sharp teeth on the wolves beside the girl and didnt dare take a step near them. Massie was a cross between petrified and angry. Massie knew she wouldnt get her envelope back, so she gave up and walked away. She knew all the effort she put into saving up that money and she knew she had it in her to earn it again. After all massie liked to earn money for herself but if massie asked, her father would give her whatever she wanted. Massie uncrickled her face and began to smile. She turned around and stared at the girl and said " I know theres a different system here for money and if you think for a second u can get your own way by being mean to people you are wrong". Then massie turned around and began walking away again.

Faly laughed at the girl as she walked away "Please. I'm mean because this world needs people like me. If everyone was nice and kind this place wouldn't have any fun, now would it?" She sighed, and her white wolf took the envalope in it's mouth and walked over to the girl. "Dont worry, he won't hurt you. You can have your money back, I have no use for it." Normally she would have kept the money, but she couldn't stop thinking about her vows to Jade about being more like a leader. Figuring taking so money from townsfolk wasn't exactly a very good example, she had to give it back. She looked to her thumb with the scar she made to seal the deal, and then back to the girl. "Don't think this means anything, but about your books and all...thats a great thing to spend money on, if you ask me." She really didn't even know why she said it, it sounded way too nice for her, but it was true. Faly loved books ever since she was 3 and taught herself to read. Hoping the girl wouldn't think much of it, she just stood there and waited for a reply.

Massie turned around and gently took the envelope form the wolf. Massie knew the girl had a good heart so she didnt mind her being mean so much. "I know its a good thing to buy.. thats why im buying it" massie said so this conversation wouldnt get cheesy. Massie shoved the envelope in her pocked and just stood there. Just then jacob and kristen ran out of the bush. "hey guys!" massie shouted. "These are my little siblings" massie said hoping the girl wouldnt be mean to her little brother and sister, they were only 6 and they were sensitive. Massie picked up jacob in one hand and help kristens hand with the other. "PICNIC!" shouted the twins. Massie giggled, "okay i promised..." massie said. "would you like to join us, no one can pass up food" massie said with a smile. Her little brother and sister bounced up and down waiting for the answer they wanted to hear.

"Hmm. Whatever." she said, realizing that she must have sounded alot different than normal, alot...nicer. I guess thats not saying much. If thats my 'nice' side, wouln't she just love to see me most days... She guessed she was just having a good day today for whatever reason. Maybe it was the fact that summer would soon be over, and winter was right around the corner. Getting distracted by her thoughts, she was suddenly brought back when she was asked to join them for a picnic. "...Picnic?" she asked hesitantly. She was rarely invited to do much with anyone, and she was suprised they wanted her to join them. "...I'm not so sure thats a good idea. If you haven't noticed, i'm not such a people person. Especially kids." Actually, as much as she hated to admit it, she was good with kids. She didn't know why this was, probably because kids weren't so judgemental and didn't care what you did, as long as you made them happy one way or another. But why ruin such a good day by refusing the offer, which would surly cause an argument with Jade. "...Ok. I'll join you, but don't expect me to be nice or anything." Faly had to pause for a moment and think about what she had said and done today...Man...what's wrong with me? I gave back the money, I'm going to a picnic, and the books.... but then she just scowled and nodded. "Ok, picnick."

Massie looked at her brother and sister running in circles around here screaming " make new friends but keep the old..." Massie giggled. Massie began walking to her favorite place to have a picnic when her little sister wispered in her ear " ohhhh yay!! she is soooooooooo cool, me and her are gonna be best friends forvever" massie giggled but felt bad for kristen because she knew the girl would never tollerate her little sister. " im sure" massie said to kristen. Massie picked up her sister and hugged her. Kristen giggled. "ohh im sorry, i didnt even get your name, im ma.." massie got cut off. "WAAAAAAAAAAAA OUCH EHHHHHHHHHH OHHHHHHHHHH OOOOOOOOOOOOO" jacob began crying and jumping up and down. He stubbed his toe on a tree stump. "ohh jacob!" massie said running over to him. Jacib hadnt just stumped his toe he cut it very badly and it was bleeding. Massie didnt know what to do. She picked up jacob and told him he was gonna be okay it was just a cut. "do you have any bandages??" massie asked the girl.

Faly looked a bit weary as she watched the kids run around in circles "Yeah...this doesn't mean I'm your friend or anything, i'm just coming to lunch. No big deal." When the girl started to introduce herself, the little brother started wailing and crying because of a cut on his foot. "It's just a cut..." she mumbled to herself, but whistled for her white wolf to come over. Then she said something to her wolf in a language she had created for the soul purpose of talking to them. They understood english but got a bit confuzed with it. Within seconds, the wolf was out of sight. "I sent her for bandages, she'll be back in a second." As she waited for her wolf to return, she walked over to the little girl. "Hey, you. How old are you anyway?" but before the little girl had time to answer, her wolf returned. "Good." but before she went to treat the little boy, she mumbled "Oh. And you can call me Faly." She made her way over to the crying child and took him from the girl's hands. "Let me take care of him. You go take care of you're little...sibling." With that she took the boy over to a nearby rock and sat down. "Don't worry, i've been doing these kinds of things for years." she pulled out the bandages and began wrapping his foot. "So...what's your name?"

"my name is jacob" jacob said inbetween his sniffles. "Maybe when i i am not tick anymore you can come over and play on my ting tet" jacob said not being able to pronounce his s's. Massie grabbed kristen by the hand and ran over to jacob. " im massie , this is kristen, and thats jacob." massie said. "want me to carry you to the picnic" massie asked jacob. "NO!" jacob screamed. "i want fanny to carry me" he said demandingly. Massie was kind of jealous, her brother had always prefered her over everyone. " its fally" massie said with a sneer." i want you to carry me" said kristen to massie. "okay" massie said smiling. Massie picked up her sister and swung her around like an airplane. Massie looked down at jacob peering into fally's eyes as if he wanted her to carry him more than anything in the world. Massie looked at fally with a look in her eyes as if to say carry him! If fally didnt carry jacob she knew how he would feel. "WETS WO!!" said kristen, but massie knew she meant lets go. Massie giggled to herself and waited for faly's response.
