Application Rules
01. Registry Register with the FIRST AND LAST NAME OF YOUR CHARACTER. Middle name only if they use it as part of their everyday name. GOOD EXAMPLES: Marcie Howard Karen Sue Walters (noted in application as: goes by Karen Sue)
BAD EXAMPLES: Iluvjustin Sexyback Marcie howard Marciehoward
02. Editing Do not talk back to an admin or mod when they tell you to make changes. Shut up and make it. Unless its something you feel is an integral part of the character. For example: Erin tells you that your character cannot be an orphan, because that's cliché. You say: Sorry, Erin, but Bob being an orphan leads to him being shy and withdrawn from the world. He doesn't get close to people because he's afraid he'll lose them like he lost his parents. That's why I put that in his personality. I can add it to his history, if you'd like. [Your third code it 'Shepherds leave your pasture sweet' Erin will either say, "OK, that's fine" or "It still doesn't work, please change it." We will edit grammar and spelling in your application, just fix it. When you have fixed your application, please post "EDITED" and what you changed. Also, please make sure you check that you want it shown when you modified it.
03. Notification I highly suggest getting email notification of replies on your application. It will make everything go a little faster. (There are certain rules for reserving a character, so please read those.) I am not making a rule that you have to post an application within x number of days of registering, but if I ask you to fix something and check two weeks later and nothing's happened, but I know you've been on, then I'll make a comment. (So will any other mod or admin) We'll delete the application and your registry, so please be careful.
04. Members and Applications Unless you are a moderator or administrator of the board, or it is your application, you may not post in an application. If you're on another account and you're remarking on something (but the character is still yours), then it is fine. But not if it's your friend and you're saying WELCOME!)
05. Staff and Applying Yes, even mods and admins need their characters accepted. The only exceptions are Headmistress Andre and Marcie Howard, because they're Erin's creation and were the first members ever.
06. Codes This is very important. If you do not have all the codes in your application, it will be mentioned and it may take longer for you to be accepted. The codes are hidden in all the branches of the rules, as well as the 'Filling Out Your Application'. They are the lyrics to a song Erin sang in Madrigals her freshman year in high school, and the composer.
Always subject to change without notice
