The Posting Rules

01. Thou shalt not use 'chatspeak'
Not even in the IMs or emails will you use 'u', 'r', or any sort of similar abbreviation. However: LOL, ROFL, OMG, OMFG, etc. are accepted. We know what you mean and understand you.

02. Thou shalt not be R-rated
Keep it PG-13. If you're afraid it could be R, then mark it in Topic Description so we know. (By the way, swearing does not count as R-rated. They swear in PG-13. But not every other word.) If an admin or mod (or fellow member) believes content is R-rated, the post will be deleted, and you will be warned.

03. Thou shalt not use punctuation and emoticons in excess
No one likes to see lots of !!!!!!!!!!!!!! or smiley faces. It's obnoxious. Not to mention annoying if you've had a bad day.

04. Thou shalt be respectful
Mods and admins are your friends. It says so in their 'Group' what they are, so be sure to check that. In fact, be respectful to everyone. We can track you—we know all and see all. If someone is being disrespectful, please report it and we'll watch for you. Slurs against homosexuals, bisexuals, other races, etc. WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. Even if your character says it. Any sort of slur will result in automatic character deletion. You will also have to OK it with an admin before reapplying.

05. Thou shalt not be obscene
Overuse of cursing is not pretty. If you're going to do a lot of swearing, please censor yourself. There are no automatic changes, but you should use asterisks (*) for excess swears. It's just polite.

06. Thou shalt not correct others
Correcting someone's spelling or grammar is just plain rude. Mods and admins reserve the right to mention something, but OTHER MEMBERS will not. If its chatspeak, please alert a mod or admin via PM so we can edit the post with a warning. [Your first code it 'You that won't to my pipes sound']

07. Thou shalt not use all bold or italics or underlines
Seeing an entire post written like this is not fun. Leave bold and underlines and italics for emphasis only. Seeing: OMG! I can't believe what happened in school today! is really annoying. However, seeing: Jeez! I cannot believe Bob dumped Sally! is not. We see the natural emphasis there.

08. Thou shalt not write in light colors
If we can't read it, it will be changed. Use your own discretion here—yellow CAN be hard to see. So, try it, and see if it works. Please and thank you.

Always subject to change without notice
