It sucked.
Everywhere you go, you hear some weird ass overused alien from the gaylo series screaming and going apeshit, but where is he? Oh, yeah, you can't see him unless you crank the brightness up all the way (If you can bear playing this foir so long). After you do that, you'll notice all the same old weapons from the other halo games laying on the ground. Pick one up, and oh, what do you know, theres about enough shots here to kill maybe 2 enimies, then you're out of ammo.

Don't even get me started on the story. For what is supposed to be a brand new story and everything, it was 2 hours of crawling around in the dark and your bitchy team mate whining. Worse than halo 3, which is hard to do.

The graphics? Inbetween halo 2/3. 3's were far better, but then again, this is assbox, on playstation 3 they would've looked nicer.

Fire fight mode was disappointing. Same thing as halo 1 but with barely updated grphics. Hey, even the same guns, what a surprise.

I'd give this game a 1/5, because if you play co-op single player, your friend can help you point out what horrible things there are in this game.

Here's my counter review:

Length:
About as long as any other game in the series, and if you have no issues with those, you don't deserve to complain about this.

Gameplay:
Some people preferred Halo: CE's gameplay over Halo 2 or Halo 3's, so ODST was a welcome return to the original style. They didn't even embrace Halo 2's addition of playing as the Arbitor and didn't accept it until Halo 3 when the Arbitor was discovered to be as noble and hardcore as the Master Chief, even though the only real difference was Flashlightt/Active Camouflage abilities. So with ODST, we have none of that.

Graphics:
Graphics whores need to have their small intestine ripped out so they can be strangled to death with them, and then have them stuffed down their throats so what's left of their stomach acids can corrode them. To quote Maddox, "No one cares about graphics if the game plays like dog shit." That's why games like Wolfenstein 3D and Ultimate Doom reign supreme amongst FPS games. But back to ODST. You know, a game's graphics can only go so far to be considered "good". Graphics are pretty much as good as they can possible be. The next step in real life. Until then, let's see you do better. Bungie did the best it could.

Features:
Worth 60 bucks? Yes. Why? $15 for a brand new Campaign mode, $15 for Firefight which is good enough for an unlimited Survival mode, $20 for Halo 3's main draw, it's multiplayer mode, that you MIGHT OR MIGHT NOT ALREADY HAVE IF YOU OWN HALO 3 (a savings of $10 due to age and said prior ownership of Halo 3, with Halo 3's campaign and multiplayer costing $30 each) and $10 for the 3 maps that you can't download and are exclusive to ODST's version of Halo 3's multiplayer ($10 being the standard price for a set of 3 maps available when they launch over XBLA):

QUOTE
  $15 - ODST Campaign
  $15 - ODST Firefight
  $20 - Halo 3's multiplayer
+ $10 - ODST's built-in exclusive map pack
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
= $60, rounded up from it's $59.99 price tag and excluding tax
+ FUCK YOU MUC
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
= I just ate you alive.

"$15 - ODST Campaign"

I already have Halo: Combat evolved.

" $15 - ODST Firefight"

I have the multiplayer for Halo: Combat evolved.

" $20 - Halo 3's multiplayer"

I have halo 3, and its multiplayer, and it's worth no where near 20 dollars.

"+ $10 - ODST's built-in exclusive map pack"

Exclusive built in map pack? Don't you mean, the maps the game comes with? Excellent reasoning, Mack Trucking Company.

"= $60, rounded up from it's $59.99 price tag and excluding tax
+ FUCK YOU MUC"

Excellent addition skills. I did not expect that.
Also, nice 2nd grade insult.

"= I just ate you alive."

Then why am I alive, and outside of your interior?

Cool. But do you have the ability to freely explore an entire city, or do you have to travel through a pre-defined path to get through the game's levels? Does it also follow the story not of a Spartan, but of a group of lesser soldiers as they survive an invasion of earth instead of taking place on a ring-shaped world?

I never knew the original Halo had a mode where you and 4 other players simultaneously battle an endless group of aliens in an attempt to see how far you can get before you lose all your lives and die in an attempt to reach a high group score. I have to check and see how one unlocks such a mode in Halo: Combat Evolved.

I like how arrogant you are that you assume that every game that has been concieved MUST be meant for you. Because I thought the Halo 3 Multiplayer disc was for those who didn't own Halo 3 and wanted a different Campeign to go with the same Halo 3 that they didn't buy.

Yeah dumbshit, 3 maps that can only be played on the Halo 3 disc that comes with ODST. That's what "exclusive built-in" means.

That's very original, no wonder Halo 3 didn't have that.
