These things are made right in JT's back yard, so he ought to be able to do a little window peeping and get some information.

If we can find Storts he can consult, given his massive experience with driveway and parking lot plowing. Attached Image (Click thumbnail to expand) ![]() |

I've decided the mrs needs the exercise of swinging a rake, so I'm not doing anything to ease her burden this year.

I'm thinking it's good for a lot of shop & developement time JT.
Then there is the Look what I'm trying to build to make your life easier factor. That ought to be good for some fine cooking. |

Her dad already has one of them stupid dethatching rakes for the front of his push mower he brings over here every fall and spring.
I'm not even fixing the oil leak in the rider to let her slurp up the leaves that way. |

That there contraption has me confused. I just don't see any gain in labour saved by attaching it to front!
Maybe with a few adjustments it could be attached to back and catch the grain as it gets cut. Here is a picture of me with a scythe and cradle taken when I was touch younger! This post has been edited by egon on Oct 27 2009, 09:34 AM Attached Image (Click thumbnail to expand) ![]() |
