Thanks

YOUR GIVING ABOUT THE SAME, YOU ARE PAYING FOR THE AMPS, MILLER ESAB, HYPERTHERM AND THERMAL . FOR CLOSE TO THE SAME AMPS AS THIER COMPETITOR, ARE WITHIN 75-100 DOLLARS, EACH MACHINE WILL BE EITHER A FEW MORE AMPS, OR A FEW LESS, BUT CLOSE ENUFF, DEPENDING ON WHAT YOUR DOING AND WANT OUT OF THE MACHINE , YOU MAY FINE A BETTER DEAL ON ONE OR THE OTHER, I HAVE SOLD MANY OF ALL THREE, WE GOT RUBBED RAW ON A LINCOLN, A FEW YRS BACK, SO I DONT PUSH THEM, BUT ALL OF THE TOP MANUFACTURES HAVE GOOD WARRANTY, HYPERTHERM,MILLER,ESAB,THERMAL DYN.,LINCOLN, :D

I was told that the Hypertherm cutter is a little more forgiving on moisture then the Thermadyne Dynamics. That the Hypertherm makes their machines taking in the fact that moisture will build up in the system. Their parts are made to take the
build up of mosture in the system.

I plan on putting a moisture filter on the system anyway.

I'm in Texas ,and we have a problem with moisture down here.

Thanks

long time since ive been here, but they never mentioned that at my hypertherm class, or all the years ive been selling them, rule of thumb, all brands need a dryer, some have a built on dryer ,the dryer the better .
moisture is rough here also, can cut it with a knife in the summer !!

I'd be more than very wary of TD products, simply because TD manufacturing will soon be 100% Chinese, and customer service will be from India or Pakistan. The total TD presence in this country will be minimum wage employees breaking down containers and reshipping the contents to the US market.

As to moisture, no machine made yet tolerates moisture in the compressed air supply. Clean dry air is more important to plasma than it is to automotive painting unless you have a great love for replacing electrodes.

Since all electrodes are made of relatively the same alloy, and the laws of physics can't be repealed, performence is close to the same on all.

Hypertherm appears to be the best bang for the buck in the new machines being sold today. How it works in your shop will be greatly dependant on how you setit up and use it.

Well guys, I have some good news for y'all. ;)

There's a big American flag on the top of the machine too. Proudly made here, I'd say.

When did Malasia become the 51st state?

Then again, a screw or 2 might have been instaLLed in Guam.

My fabricator 251 says made in Maylasia and there isn't any sign of USA on it. This machine was probably actually made here with imported circuitry. lol
