I just finished reading "Face Your Fears" by Jeffrey Lynn Stoddard.
Five people 'pay' to spend the night in a haunted castle - a 40ish gay man, a 19 year old punk homophobe, a 20ish mentally challenged guy, a 19 year old student, and a 30ish African American woman. An emotional rollercoaster ride as each face their fears. |

currently on the bedside table, er floor:
Hawkspar by Holly Lisle (i really like the premise and am hoping the enjoyment will continue) Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis (interesting way of working through things; i'm not always in agreement, but it is always interesting) |

I finished reading "Maloney's Law" by Anne Brooke on 6/9. Gay detective crime drama.
Today I started reading "Storm Front" by Jim Butcher. Mr. Butcher's books were made into a series called "The Dresden Files" (which I have not seen - hence I'm reading instead). Harry Dresden is a wizard private investigator that works on the 'mystery' cases for the Chicago PD. |

I watched Dresden Files a few times while it was on tv . . . not bad.
Currently I'm reading a bunch of cooking books (teaching myself to be a gourmet chef) and the Song of Ice and Fire series by George R. R. Martin (I'm on book 2, A Clash of Kings). It's pretty good. |
