Hi, I'm Theola Otter. I'm 31 years old, married with 2 kids and living in rural Kansas. I was a member of TBN on LJ and I followed you on over. This is brilliant, by the way!

There has been a secret part of me that has wanted to write since I was in fourth grade, many years ago. I've been more forthcoming about my desire to write in the past few years, I am still prone to questioning my ability. Mostly, I have this terrible problem with procrastination, and then there's the whole follow throu... oh look, it's snowing!

I'm addicted to romance and sometimes I dabble in horror, crime and/or mystery. Science fiction is an occasional guilty pleasure, as well. I came to know a number of the other writers through a shared love of the Harry Potter series, a love I share with my husband and daughter share. I pray that someday, my son will also be a voracious reader.

Hello to one and all- my name is Adam. I am probably the coolest guy you will meet. I am from Salt Lake City, Utah. Born and raised. I dont really like to read much, or write for that matter, but I do enjoy reading other peoples stories especially that Natalie girls, she is very talented. I really like the way that she paints Harry in her Harry Potter stories. I wish I could be like him. I am married to a beautiful woman named Amy, she is the love of my life. I love my WIFEY!!!! Hi everyone, my name Susie and I'm 27 yrs. old. I'm married, have a four-month old little boy, work full time, and I'm also a full time student.

I've always wanted to feel comfortable enough to write something of my own but I still haven't had the nerve to try, but I do love reading other peoples work.

I found this site through Checkmated and I think this is a wonderful idea. Who knows, maybe I'll finally overcome my insecurities and write/post something here. Either way, I look forward to getting to know you all.

First off everyone welcome. Scaulder you are going to love it here and I promise we'll help you get over your fear of posting. Honestly this is one of the easiest ways to get writing. Even if you don't post write stuff for yourself, you will be amazed to see how much easier it becomes.

Finally about me. Not much to tell. I am working on a Masters degree in Secondary Ed. I work for a publishing company now working on the Internet. I have a fish and love to travel. I enjoy writing, though I am not that good at it, and I hope one day to actually have a passport.

Oh, I suppose I should introduce myself too, for everyone who doesn't know me.

I'm Elisha. I work. I eat. I write. Sometimes I sleep. At some point in the future I'm going to be getting a Masters in Creative Writing.

My preferred genre is fantasy, predominantly the epic, Lord of the Rings-type of fantasy, though if it's well-written I'll read just about anything.

New to the site... Name's Chelsea. 24, engaged graduate student in Southern Ontario. I'm a history student, but I obviously love writing or I wouldn't be here. I read just about everything I can get my grubby hands on *sends guilty look to the TBR pile weighing down the nearest bookcase* but I'm writing fantasy and romance primarily right now. This is unfortunate because I should really be writing my thesis
