  • This board has a four character limit that shall be adhered to at all times.
  • For now, unless you want to, you don't have to sign up more than one profile for your characters. If you use one ID for all of your cast, try to have a way to identify your characters in text (see my sig for an example).
  • Try to keep canon characters as close to canon as possible. You may creatively interpret... but nothing too severe. For characters that aren't entirely fleshed out (Warhawk or Aquagirl, for example), you have mostly free reign. Just try to keep in mind some of the characterizations they were created with. A lot of older characters have a lot more history added onto them in-game. You'll find information on a lot of them in the Character Points and Timeline.
  • Many of the younger characters listed are actually from Kingdom Come and canon characters themselves, but they have no fully developed history. I'm leaving that up to you, but make sure it's plausible.
  • APPLICATIONS ARE FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVE. Unless a character is marked as being reserved, if there is no application for the character in the listings, you may apply for a character. If you post a character's profile as "incomplete," you have one week to finish it before your profile will be removed and the chance will be opened up for someone else. If you want a character and can't apply right away or within the week, PM me about it and we'll see about reserving that character for you.
  • Original characters are permitted, but they will be under a considerable amount of scrutiny.
  • Original characters, no family or "close friends" of any canon characters without previous permission of the players, unless the character is (obviously) canonically related.
  • Any original characters with powers may have powers similar to those in canon but they MAY NOT exceed them. A character with super-speed, for example, may not be as fast as or faster than Kid Flash and the Flash, a character with super-strength may not match or exceed Superman and Superboy, etc. Try to keep the powers as toned down as possible, as well. Too many powers that are too powerful will cause your character to be rejected.
  • If you're wanting to play offspring of an existing DC character that has no offspring in canon, make sure it works and that the player of that character (if there is one) is okay with it. If there isn't one, make sure to get in touch with anyone who wants to apply.
  • Special Characters are important to the plot in some way or very difficult to cast because of the sheer amount of power they wield. If you want to play one, you must first get into contact with the mods about it. You have to have been with the game at least three weeks to play one.
