Rex placed down the menu and smiled like a wild cat to the side. It was that look that perhaps said trouble ahead. "Now don't tell me the social sweet-heart Olivia Q has not had any form of alcohol behind her parents back. That she is truly that innocent."

He made note of his choices and leaned back slightly in the chair. "Besides, your with me and after all, they do so a little bit of wine with a meal is good for the health."

Rex never liked the strange laws at times when it came to drinking. So long as someone didn't go over-board with it, he didn't see why it was a bad thing, however, he suppose for all those who had no self-control that would be another problem.
"However, if you don't want any wine, or if you are worried you would get caught red-handed, then I wont worry over it."

Olivia grinned wickedly, leaning over to peer at him as she tapped her menu against her chin. "Please. Me, refrain when there's a good drink to be had? I've never been drunk, but I'm not going to say I haven't had a fair share of drinks bought for me. I'm Olivia Queen, remember? Always in the public spotlight, the apple of her mayor daddy's eye, a social butterfly, and always ready for a party."

Still with that wild, wicked little grin, she pointed to a different wine on the list. "This is one my mother's let me try and I like it a lot. The Semler Malibu Estate Cabernet Sauvignon."

Rex nodded his head and rested his arm on the table casually, "Very well, then we will get that one, since its the one you like."
He was trying to losen up, however it was still hard to look into her eyes and not one to drop his eyes to another direction.
There was a part of him that was worried something would go wrong. He had never gone out with anyone or even asked on a date for that matter. However-- perhaps he was lucky that such a wonderful girl, no, woman gave him that chance.

He was never one to show a sign of weakness, but there was just something about her, not just how attractive she was, but-- something else.

"By the way, how late can you be out before your old man gets his gear and decided to go hunting?"
Rex's other concern is he didn't want his feather's being used for the 'Green Arrow's' own arrows and find himself being used for target practice. Not that he was really overly concerned over the matter, but he was also no fool. First Impressions were the longest impressions.

"I don't really have a curfew so long as I call and tell him I'll be late," Olivia responded, glancing off. She was doing her best not to smile like a little schoolgirl. "This is actually the first real date I've been on, you know? I mean, sure, I have a reputation to maintain and when I'm on the town, I dance and flirt and all... but all of them chase me like puppies on string."

She turned her attention fully back to him, smiling a bit now, chin resting on folded hands, elbows propped on the table. "That's what I like about you. You don't spend every waking moment trying to get into my fishnets."
