I had trouble believing that Kerry was going to concede before Ohio was done, but uh, he did. Guess we'll just have to accept it. Or Revolution .

What shocked me, among other things, was that my state elected Jim DeMint for Senate. I mean, the guy says that gays should not be allowed to teach, abortion should be banned no matter what (and refusing to say who should be punished, the doctor, woman, or both, if one does get an abortion), and refered to Inez Tennenbaum as "A little lady who doesn't know much."
WTF? Sexist and Homophobic, and he gets I think 2/3s of the vote! Holy god.
But then again, I live in SC...

The other thing that shocked me is 11 states voting to ban gay marriage. Its not every day that 1/5th of the country bans rights for minorities.

Tom Dachle lost his seat, but he was a traitor, so he had it comming.

I think the only silver lining is that when everything goes to hell, the Republicans will not be able to blame Clinton anymore or the Democrats.
Also.. I gotta move to Cuba. Maybe this Christmas.

I voted for Nader.

Kerry sucked ass anyways, he deserved to lose. He might as well have been Bush.

Thousands of years may pass, but never will it be possible to speak of heroism without mentioning the German army and the World War. Then from the veil of the past the iron front of the gray steel helmet will emerge, unwavering and unflinching, an immortal monument. As long as there are Germans alive, they will remember that these men were sons of their nation.
