Pokemon Yellow
Pokémon Yellow, is an updated game of the original Pokémon Red and
Blue. It has been improved in terms of graphics, as now Pokémon look much
cooler and nicer than before, an example? Look at the game's intro. Also
Pokémon Yellow has some differences in comparison with the original
games. Also a new Pokédex with new Pokémon graphics and info has
replaced the old Red and Blue one.
The plot of the game still is catch all Pokémon and become the greatest
master, but now, your adventure will start quite similar at the television show,
so don't expect to get as your first Pokémon Bulbasaur, Squirtle or
Charmander, because you won't, you will get the famous Pikachu! Also Gary
will have different Pokémon. Pikachu will never evolve to Raichu in this game
(as the tv show). Pikachu will also be a little peculiar. Pikachu's attack and
defense when battling will be affected with the way you are treating him, and
also depending in his happiness level you will get the 3 starting Pokémon
from Red and Blue. Yeah, all 3 starting Pokémon.

Pokémon Sliver/Gold
Pokémon Gold and Silver utilize the general design blueprint supplied in
Red/Blue/Yellow -- Boy wanders the land to become the greatest Pokémon
trainer in the world, with an archrival out to take your glory every step of the
way. Both versions are identical in every way, except for the character
images during battles, and the characters that can be caught in the wild,
keeping with the "trading is necessary" design. The game has the familiar
Japanese-style RPG engine, meaning top-down scrolling provides the
perspective, and big-headed people inhabit the world. The hook in Pokémon
is the fact that you yourself don't do your own fighting -- instead, creatures
you capture in the wild supply the brute force of your battle skills. The
creatures are Pokémon, and in Pokémon Gold and Silver there are exactly
251different species of these animals hiding in the game, waiting to be
caught and trained. Happy hunting!

Pokémon Crystal
In Japan, Pokémon Crystal was released as the main reason to pick up a
Mobile Adapter, the interface between the Game Boy Color/Advance and a
Japanese cell-phone. In Crystal, kids can dial up to Nintendo's game server
and trade/battle Pokémon with other users in remote locations, as well as
attend set events by dialing in at a specific time. The updated title's
existence was justified because it incorporated these new elements on top
of a slightly updated quest and engine.

Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire
Nintendo's mega-popular monster-battling RPG is back with Pokemon Ruby
and Pokemon Sapphire for the Game Boy Advance. These new Pokemon
quests take players on a journey through Hoenn, where they can train,
battle, trade and earn badges with a new set of Pokemon. Ruby and
Sapphire offer over 100 new Pokemon, and completely overhauled graphics,
thanks to the power of the Game Boy Advance. A new two-on-two battle
system raises the level of strategy and excitement, as a single player can
simultaneously battle two Pokemon. Multiplayer options have also been
expanded as two players can battle against each other with two Pokemon
each, as well as a new four-player battle mode.

Pokémon Fire Red/Leaf Green
Remake of the original Game Boy title Pokemon Red (released in Japan in
1996). The main objective remains the same: catch and train Pokemon and
become the ultimate Pokemon Master. The game has been upgraded
visually for the Game Boy Advance and supports wireless link-up for trading
without cables. The game also enables trading and battling of the original
Pokemon that started the craze with the new Sapphire and Ruby editions. In
addition to linking up with the other GBA Pokemon titles, the game also
features built-in support for GameCube's Pokemon Colosseum, including
Pokemon transfer to the GCN and various extra functionality that can only be
obtained via link-up.

Pokemon Trading Card Game
The game begins with a sample battle. You have to follow the instructions to
the tee or the round will start over. It's confusing unless you look at the
manual, it's in Japanese but you can figure it out by the pictures.First you are
given seven cards from your "deck". You first have to pick the monsters you
want to use for the battle, and press the B button. When it's your turn, you
have to charge up your Pokemon with an "energy" card, and depending on
how much energy your Pokemon has you can select different fighting moves.
There are also "Trainer" cards that do various things like heal damage,
remove a Pokemon from play, or get extra cards from your deck. As you win
battles, the other trainers give you cards to add to your deck. There are also
"Evolution" cards that evolve your Pokemon to the next level, give them more
HP and more powerful attacks. As usual there are a ridiculous amount of
Pokemon to be collected. The game is non- linear in the sense that you can
go to any Gym, any time to battle. There are alot of gyms too, one for every
type of Pokemon, Fire Gym, Water Gym. etc.

Pokemon Pinball / Ruby
Pokemon Pinball has all the features you'd demand of a pinball game,
including bonus tables, lots of bumpers and ways to score massive points. As
with your standard videogame pinball game, the left button on the D-pad and
the A-button control the flippers with the R/L triggers used to shake the table.
The catch here is that everything is themed in Pokemon. Instead of a ball, you
make use of a Pokeball. Instead of standard bumpers, you're hitting the
Pokeball against other Pokemon, and the ultimate goal is of course to "catch
'em all". The game features 200 Pokemon, two main tables, and link cable
support.
