For Christ's sake, Nader, haven't you had enough of losing the election?

I swear to God, he is running again. This makes seven times.

Egore, don't respond to Jon's comment toward you.

...Why? It seems like a perfectly legitimate response to me. And I wasn't really joking. All Ralph Nader does in these elections is steal votes. =\

He got 2.74% of the popular vote in 2000 and .35% of the vote in 2004 btw.

MS addressed your post and Jon disagreed with it right afterwards. Jon should have accepted that your post got addressed instead of bringing it back into the subject.

What was wrong with my post? Ralph Nader steals votes from Democrats, and since I support the Republicans in this election, I regard that as a good thing. @__@

If MS didn't find it particularly amusing, that's fine. I didn't really intend it to be funny. I don't see why that should stop people from responding to my post.

well, not everyone supports republicans. I'm guessing MS wasn't impresed by that post because it could come off as overly offensive. I know alot of things, possibly almost everything can come across as overly offensive in politics, but that is why we keep a close eye on this forum. When two opinions collide in politics, it isn't pretty. The idea of democrats being singled out compared to republicans can easily trigger a debate that could get really ugly really fast so I'm just stopping this discussion before it erupts, but I get your point, so I'll cut you a deal.

cut the topic down from "stealing democrat votes" to just plain "stealing votes" in general so it is less likely that anyone will gfet severely offended.

No, my point was that Ralph Nader steals votes from Democrats. It's given that he steals votes, because anyone running for president that gets a single vote from someone who would have voted for a different candidate has stolen votes. It would be pointless and stupid to state and pointless and stupid to contest. Stating that Ralph Nader steals votes from Democrats and is therefore a reason that Republicans win elections that Ralph Nader runs in (Which was unstated but should have been an obvious conclusion) is not obvious and is contestable, as proven by Jon.

There's no point in discussing the stealing of votes unless one side is robbed more than the other. >.>

I was being sarcastic.

Oh and by me saying 0.1% of the votes, was more on the joking side.
