27 x Lucky Gits
6 x Manbiters
I shall be popping back on here at regular intervals to let you know of my progress and posting pics when I can.
I hpe to see you all on the over side!
Farewell for now.

Wow! Time has literally flown by and it doesnt appear have gotten anything done.
It is now 22.45 and I have done the following.
1) Painted every model grtechin green (Basing for skin)
2) Almost finished the 35 Pig back riders, which when you think about it is 70 gnoblars, I have painted them specifically to match the unit which has taken more time then I would have liked but is worth it. Pictures will follow
I have paused to write on here and also because my hand has started shaking - Yes shaking, I am thinking this is due to the amunt of coke I have been drinking.
Still time for a food break methinks!
Pictures will follow.
I started eventually at 13.15, which means I have 14 hours and 30 mins left.

Time: 00:16 - 13 hours and 15 mins to go
I have finished the Pigback riders, ok so not on schedule but they were a pain and easily the worst I will have to deal with.
The gnoblars greened and ready to paint.

A closer pic of the pig back riders. Thye are not totally finished yet still got to devlun mud but I am going to do that when I have finished them all and do t as a job lot job.
The Pigback rider under the paintbursh at the right of the screen is what they will look like finished.

Just finshed the 7 Lucky Gits - (Knights) - Poor picture I know but they look quite good.
Better pics soon.
10 hours and 45 minutes to go.

Starting to flag now.
Just finished fighters.
Head Honcho Lolo - August 13, 2011 12:06 PM (GMT)
It is now all over.
I have painted for 24 hours straight and I am now ofto bed.
Unfortunatey I never got anywhere near my target of 160.
Final count: 104 Gnoblars in 24 hours.
My wife did point out though that the Pigack riders are 2 gnoblars to paint on each base so I technically painted 139 Gnoblars...No I didnt think youd let me have that one. lol
I didnt hit my target which is a fail for this challenge but the expereience was fun and I would certianly recomend people trying it. I have also painted 100 gnoblars towards my horde, so really happy.
The next time I try this I will be aiming to beat 104 gnoblars in 24 hours.
This is the final picture. The gnoblars arent completly finished yet as they are not mudded so imagine these gnoblars not so shiny and dirty.

Well done, good sir!!
I have learned from what you and others have done, and have told my wife that I WILL attempt a similar feat. (BTW, she thinks we are all crazy, but that's OK in my world.)
I'm thinking 100 in 12 hours. the difference is that my bases are done already, and I do alot of head/weapon swaps with other races. When the job calms down and the weather gets too cold for fishing, I will be ready to go.
Inspirational, Lolo. Very much so.

Your amount of Gnoblars makes me want to cry! How did you get so many pigback riders! I would love to do something like this, but my 24 Gnoblars wouldn’t take that long to get finished :D.
Fantastic work. They look brilliant and I am very jealous :P.
Maybe we could have a fun challenge sometime were we see how many Gnoblars we can paint in 1 hour :D.
Hmmmm I think I may have to finish off my Gnoblar unit, haven't done painted any Gnoblars in awhile.
Head Honcho Lolo - August 14, 2011 11:01 AM (GMT)
Bitz box, other gnoblar players, ogre players etc.
Yeah we can do that callenge if youd like. We could make it a site challenge.

What about a quality vs. quantity kinda thing??
I just wanna get mine done, but I could spend an hour or so on one otr two..
Imaging a horde the quality of 'Eavy Metal team... that'd be cool...

Head Honcho Lolo - August 15, 2011 02:59 PM (GMT)
Are you implying that my quality is not of eavy metal standard? How dare you! I shall be stealing your trinkets and pulling your ears! :P
GutChef - August 15, 2011 06:50 PM (GMT)
NO!! I am simply stating that MINE are not. 1 coat and dipped is good enough for me.
it is all about getting them onto the field looking better than the plastic / metal combos that I've seen too many times. I do not use unpainted models, and since 1 unit of ours are a minimum of 20 models, well.... I just wanna get playing more than 1k games.
done for now....

Then I shall return your trinkets, :D
I love playing big games of Warhammer with Gnoblars. It's my opponents face as I set up.
