It is called "Christmas"

I Love it. That is one of my PC pet peeves. "xmas" "Happy Hollidays". Get with it "It's called Christmas". Don't like it. That's Tough...Move. Somebody says Happy Hollidays to me. I always say "And Merry Christmas to you too".

He is the reason for the day. How can you leave him out.

Now on to a somewhat related subject. Sorry, I can't help myself. I am trying to restrain but I can't.

It is going to be interesting to watch the White House this year and how the Obama family celerates Christmas with their children. Will there be a tree cut down from the eco-system forest and trucked to the white house...and will Christ be invited in this year. After all we are not a Christian nation anymore according to Mr. Barrack Hussein Obama...and does the Rev Wright celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ in his church. Obama's home church for 20 years. It will be interesting. It won't change God's plan for the end of the world. But it will still be interesting.

Just some of the things I think about while sitting on a stump in the deer woods..and I haven't even been on that stump for awhile. biggrin.gif

I would hope he wouldn't mess with Christmas tradition but it wouldn't surprise me a great deal. I figure what goes around comes around and good prevails, least I hope so...for the sake of future generations.

%60%60Master_Sign.png I agree with you Chuck. One of my pet peeves too! Lets keep the "Christ" in Christmas. Its not the retailers birthday for people buying presents, its Christs birthday.
The politicians AND the white House better remember that this country was formed by people seeking religious and social freedom. AThough the first pilgrims didn't celebrate Christmas, our colonial forefathers did.
Till a very short while ago we ALL celebrated this day in some fashion.
We can all do our part by buying only cards and decorations that say Merry Christmas, not Xmas, Seasons Greetings, Happy Holiday or any other saying that tries to be politically correct.
Remember to put up a manger scene. They may be able to block it on public property, but not on private property.

Chuck, I believe, Muslims, don't celebrate, Christmas. rolleyes.gif
Speaking of, Muslims, isn't it a coincidence that the, Major, that just killed all those innocent, G.I'S at, Ft. Hood, was one. I truely believe that everyone of them should be run from our country. Their our ''Enemy''. I'm for bringing back the draft. Theirs way to many foreigners in our military. I just don't get it. At least with the draft, we can induct, Americans. And hopefully, a lot of them would be the sons and daughters of politicians. Maybe then, our ''fearless'' leaders, would think twice about sending our troops into harms way. I also don't think it is fare to make some of our troops do, 4 or 5 combat tours. And last but not least, it should be compulsory that in order to be President of the ''United States of America,'' one should have at least been, '' Honorably,'' discharged from a branch of, ''Our,'' armed forces. What ever happened to,.... ''Must be a born citizen of the, United States?'' shame.gif
Okay,.... I'm over my, SoapBox.gif , now. I do hope, ''Freedom of Speech,'' is still allowed here. hide.gif GroupHug.gif

When we sent out Christmas cards last year, I'm not sure if we ever found one that said Merry Christmas so we wrote it in there. dunno.gif
