What happened? I didn't make the lineup this time around. I'm crushed. I just want everybody to know ... I'm crushed.

Well ... (long suffering sigh here) (hurt feelings all over the place) I didn't make the line up on Phillip's picks either.

I just got up from a long nap, came back in to the TV room. Races going full speed ahead. I said, "Are your guys winning, Phillip?" He said, "Winning? Two of my guys aren't even in this race." Then he instructed me to erase Earnheart and Biffle from his line of picks. He said, "Just tell everybody I was out to lunch." LaughLaughLaugh.

Oh, well, this has been a confusing weekend. Hard to make heads or tails of what is going on with this Nationwide series.

Plus ... Why are there so few spectators in the stands?

We dunno.

As far as lack of fans

If you ask Kenny, he will tell you the lack of fans are due to the the 'Chase Boys' partying with Obama at the Whitehouse two weeks ago.

Apparently, that doesn't go well South of the Mason/Dixon line. In fact, it doesn't even go well North of that famous line.

SPRINT CUP IN RICHMOND SAT. April 28, at 6:00 in Murfreesbro and an hour later at 7:00 in Michigan.

So, Jonelle... You can tell Phillip, if his drivers are not in the starting line up, tonight, when the race starts down there. You tell him that he has an hour to repick before the race starts up here.

Did I spell those right? Now, listen! If I've got to play secretary I want racers to have names like John Jones or Bill Smith. I don't want any hard duty resting on my shoulders.

If these three people happen to be in the starting line up, fine and good. If not, well, me'n Phillip just plain don't give a hoot.

That's one of the perks about living South of the Mason/Dixon line. We're not required by any man's law to give a hoot about much of anything.

I can't keep up with what's going on with these races ... The truth is, I don't TRY very hard to keep up with what's going on. But, Phillip just flagged me down as I passed through the room and he sent me back to the computer with instructions to tell you "YOU DA MAN, CHUCK!" So, I take it you did good with this race and Phillip maybe didn't do quite so good.

I said, "Well, Phillip, did any of your picks at least make a good showing?" No answer. Clint Eastwood is busy shooting bad guys full of holes right now. Nascar has been shoved clear out of sight.
