Give Phillip his user posted image back and don't forget to pull up your chair Sat. @ 1:00 for the Nationwide Race. Along with a user posted image and a user posted image...Danica will be in it this time, sitting in the green #7 car. Also in the race will be 19 year old Johanna Long in the black #70

Chuck, listen carefully here because I really believe I know what I'm talking about, although, I will admit time zones are hard for me to get the hang of.

Eastern Tennessee is in the Eastern Standard Time zone. Just like you.

Central and Western Tennessee is in the Central Standard time zone. Murfreesboro is in Central Tennessee.

Nationwide at Bristol Tennessee starts at 12:00 noon. Our time.

Now, will you - once and for all - stop trying to confuse me.

Phillip's over there hollering at me to put a laughing icon on, so I will, but I don't mean it. Okay?

You should move to BuckSnort and catch up with the rest of us. If you were in the Eastern Time Zone and all you appointments were just across the line in the Central Time Zones. And traveling at 6mph, you would be early for all your appointments.user posted image

So, with you being in the Central time Zone and me being in the Eastern Time Zone. Does that mean when I talk to you, I am going back in time and when you talk to me, you are getting a glimpse of the future?user posted image

It is now 1:20 and the basketball game just ended up here. With it being 12:20 down in your zone. Does that mean the basketball game has an hour to go down there in Murfreesboro. Do you want to know who won the game?

I'm not reading this mess!

Chuckgrmi - March 17, 2012 06:00 PM (GMT)
I told you the race was going to start at 1:00. Check your clocks. What time is it down there in your zone. I bet it is 1:00, Right?

You really need to hear the words that user posted image speaketh.
Because we are always right on.

Jonelle - March 17, 2012 08:01 PM (GMT)

Okay! Phillip said you did best today, Chuck. I take his word for it.

I just found out there's another race tomorrow. I'm going shopping for sure.

Chuckgrmi - March 17, 2012 08:10 PM (GMT)
You should believe Phillip every time he speaketh...Because Phillip knows.

The race tomorrow starts @ 12:30 my time. I don't know when it starts in the zone you're in... When does Dillard's open?

Five minutes after a green flag waves at Bristol.

Roberta walks into my room a little while ago with a friendly, all knowing smile on her face and says " OK, I am here to watch the race with you. What time does it start? I said " It ended an hour ago." "Did that girl driver win?"she says. Is there a race tomorrow? Can I watch it with you? How come they drive so fast? How come they bump into the other cars?

I said " I heard they are having a big sale at Dillard's tomorrow. Maybe you ought to go to that." user posted image

See! Wives try so hard to be nice and husbands never appreciate it. Why do we keep making an effort? That's the big question. I'm going to ask Phillip Gerner right this minute. I already know what he'll say ...

With a big look of surprise on his face, he'll say, "You've WHAT? You've been trying to be nice, Jonelle? You've been making a big effort to please me? Oh, I sure didn't know. If you want to start over again being nice, I promise to notice this time around."

That's exactly what he'll say. Looking all puzzled and anxious to make things right.

There's a big mug of ice water on his bed table. I may just accidently bump it over on the man. The thought pleases me ...

Roberta would understand.

And women wonder why men don't talk much...We don't have too. You already know what we are going to say.user posted image

SPRINT CUP TODAY @ 12:30pm in Michigan and 11:30am Murfreesboro...

In Michigan the race start at the same time no matter where in the state you live. BUT in that South of the Mason/Dixon line state of TN., It matters because they are all in their own zones down there.

I learned all that yesterday in my one on one geography lesson with that sweet young lady who lives in Murfreesboro...I also learned on Google Earth, that Bristol is closer to Kenny than it is to Murfreesboro. I didn't know that either...And here I thought I knew everything.user posted image

Anyways, back to the race...

MY PICKS ARE

1. Kyle Busch

2. Carl Edwards

3. Brad Keselowski

2 MACMURREY

3 KESELOWSKI

Chuckgrmi - March 18, 2012 05:28 PM (GMT)
I think I am going to change my number 1 & 2 picks. And it wasn't even Kyle or Edward's fault.

Chuckgrmi - March 18, 2012 08:39 PM (GMT)
It looks like a tie in picking Keselowski. But at least all 3 of your picks finished the race. So you won on picks to finish.
