Title: My Horton is back.

I sent my xbow back to the factory at their request. I have been having a problem with the servings wearing out after about 75-100 shots. Horton replaced both limbs because they found a small crack in one of the limb pockets. They also replaced my cables and put a new string on it. It was only a 10 day turn-around. I couldn't be happier with Horton or my new bow. It's like brandnew. Great company, great, PR.
I'll have to wait a few days to try it out. Foul weather has set-in. : crossbow

That is good news, Kenny. My crossbow is now 3 years old and I keep checking it for problems. With all of the complaining online about Barnetts, I worry about mine. My brother-in-law has a new model (of mine) and I can't believe how much stronger the new ones are built. I will have mine checked out by a shop south of here this spring, I hope. With the change to our family there are no funds to buy another one especially with our car nearing 200,000 mi.

I hope that you get to shoot your bow soon. Maybe sling an arrow or 2 at some yotes. We still have snow up here and we are supposed to get more tomorrow so my bow will not be seeing daylight anytime soon.

All companies should have PR like that.

Nice customer service. I really like dealing with Tenpoint but I've sent my crossbow in for repairs twice in three years. I use my old Horton for six and it never needed any work... :dunno:

Finally got to shoot it today. My hits were all over the target. Then I checked my scope. It was about to fall off. I guess, Horton, was rushing to get it back to me. When I got back home I tightened it up. We'll see what happens tomorrow. Funny part was, Cari, and I were shooting it at the town ballpark, ''the Chief gave me permission to shoot there.'' But some idiot called the police dept. and said their was a guy in the park with a gun. :o Yep, along comes the law. After explaining that I had permission from the parks dept. and the Chief, the officer laughed and shook his head. :whew: Some people just don't get it. They should stay in the city.

I secured my scope and took the bow out for another run. Only took four shots to get it dead on. How often does that happen? I have 1'' black circles on my block target and I was hitting them with every shot at, 20 yards. Moved back to 30 yards, and ditto. The same thing. The crossbow wasn't this accurate when I first got it a few years back. Lots more power too. Horton did a great job. I'll stand behind them all the way.
I like to give praise, where praise is due. :)
