Title: President speaks at AR

I still wouldn't vote for him...

But I do have to say that was the best speech I have ever heard him give. For 34 minutes he was standing straight up and not falling to the left. My thoughts were...Maybe this awful, ugly disaster opened his eyes... If he were to govern from that position, based on the words that he spoke. We might find some unity.

We will see what the weeks ahead holds for the country and his upright stance.

I pray it is good.

And what was all that yelling and cheering all about.

He may have delivered it, but he didn't write it. I still don't trust him. :shame on you

Good Point Kenny

And I agree with you 100%.

911 brought us all closer together too...For awhile people were thinking along the same lines and flocking to churches all across the U.S. Now their back to Left & Right and church on Easter and Christmas again.

Last night, Obama used the name God and cited a scripture verse for the first time in two years. I don't know about "Born Again" but I do know he is a "Raised Again" Chicago trained politician surrounded and backed by the far left socialist thinking regime. I have witnessed two years of Obama thinking and ideals to have one 34 minute speech change my opinion of where he and the far left people that surround him want to take this country.

He may again be two-tonguing to look like the good guy and let his far left media friends speak his real thoughts for him.

I don't trust him either. So I am still going to...

That was a typical college arena with "blockheads" in the balcony demeaning themselves and the university. Someone must have neglected, in their education, to explain what a Memorial service is.

I thought the Prez's speech was good except that he constantly referred to the killer as a "gun"man instead of a madman or lunatic. He was the only speaker that did that. But then what do I expect from Chicagoman. Perhaps I am thin skinned but I only see a wolf trying to look like one of the sheep.

He quoted from Isaiah but I would bet he could not find it if someone pointed to it. I wonder if anyone explained to him what the verses were about. The first part was speaking about comforting the righteous remnant of a nation that was brought down by corrupt and false leaders. It ended by saying that all would meet the Saviour and Judge on the Last Day. That is a comfort for the faithful and a word of judgement to those who tread on the faithful. The rest of the chapter expands on that theme. Talk about the blind leading the blind.

At least he spoke to his friends by saying not to point fingers. His comments about the little girl and the country were very moving.
