Title: Groundhog vs .243

As you can see by the pic's, Cari, Chuck, and me had a good day groundhog hunting.
The first pic was taken seconds after the shot. I was on the phone to the, Chuckster. Of course he tried telling me my shot was a little low, but thats because of OLD AGE. When we examined the hog we found it was hit dead in the vitals. The ground had his hole dug at the base of the appletree in the 2nd. pic.

PS. I wish I bought that, Savage, and Redfield scope sooner. I've never fallen in love with an outfit so fast.

Well, today was opening day, but this ol' boy didn't make it. The, Judge, is moving back here to his summer home nextweek so, Cari, and I went up there, turned the heat off and got his porch furniture out. We like to have everything set for him and his wife. There in their, 80's now and we don't want them lifting anything. We passed by the stream I was going to fish, and man it was packed with fishermen. I don't like crowds so it's just as well I missed it. But I will be goin', Tuesday. So, Chuck, sharpen those hooks. Phillip, get them fishin' poles untangled. :fishing:
PS. I hope you feller's got yer NC fishin' license. :D
