Title: Better Mouse Trap

Chuckgrmi - April 17, 2009 07:24 PM (GMT)
I know I have a mouse problem in the barn. I had 9 42# bags of corn in the barn last fall. My wife says there is only 8 in there now. I asked her if she could thow her cat in there but she said something I couldn't quite make out. I have used traps in the past but it is too time consuming running the trap line every day and resetting the traps.

What I would like to know is; Does that poison mouse food really work? Do any of you have any actual exprience with it?

We never used poisons here because I'm afraid of them affecting other animals. Couple outside cats keep them pretty much under control.

YES Chuck, I use the Decon green blocks all the time. in fall during harvest, and in a few days your mice will be gone, I like it because they eat it but really doesn't do anything until they get back to the nest, how it is designed to work and actually does, any way it works very well and have never had any problems with it affecting any thing other than the mice/rats....

I forgot you had a professional trapper at your house. I will pay a $1.00 a mouse. Send her up. That includes room and Board and use of the swimming pool. :D

  You better watch what you say, Room could be a pillow in any corner to her, Board may drain ya, and the pool probably would be no fun after she noticed there were no fish in it :) But she said, "OK, tell him he will have to wait until next Saturday though, (lol) I will be racing tomorrow and my POOL PARTY for my birthday is next Saturday, so I couldn't be there until that night." LOL she is a nut.....Chuck. You would have a blast with her I am sure of that, (after the 1000 questions were done first) LOL....... Praying the rain holds off tomorrow were going racing fellas!

That's right!

Race day is tomorrow. Can't wait to see the pictures of her in the race car. Don't forget your camera.

Speaking of cameras and pics.

Check these out. This guy, in Michigan, likes to take closeups of fish faces. And you know what camera he uses? A Cannon S3 IS. So where are your close ups.

Camera, what camera? Brandy, my daughter borrowed it last September and then I was in the hospital in October and November and now it's April. I haven't seen my new camera. Daughters...It's Dad can I borrow...I do love them. You got that part of daughters coming yet. But then I don't get out at all during the winter so I wouldn't have used it anyhow. Now that Spring is here and the weather is warming up, I had better call that daughter of mine and get my camera back :D .

HUH! the only thing that may change with my daughter is, SHE might actually start asking me if she can use things, LOL!
