Hail Hail!
If, after following the instructions below, any log in/registration problems persist please feel free to email me here: jinty@the-celtic-end.com Occasionally people have trouble logging in. There could be a simple reason for that - it may be a cookie problem. The same applies if you have to repeatedly log in, instead of staying logged in. It probably just means that your internet privacy settings are set too high and will not allow a cookie to be placed onto your computer for the next time to just come straight in. To remedy this, go to: Tools --> Internet options --> Privacy and lower the slider bar. Of course, you have to make sure that you tick the "Always stay logged in" box, otherwise it wonīt work. Please make sure your friends know about this if they want to register so they donīt have the same problem. Here is some more info regarding logging in: Q) I log in fine, but when I click a link it logs me out! A) Your browser is not accepting cookies properly. First check to make sure you have cookies enabled. Also, in Internet Explorer 6 you need to make sure that you have 3rd Party Cookies enabled. Your members need to enable cookies, tell them to do the following: Click on tools on the menubar on your browser Click on Internet Options on the drop menu On the window that pops up, click on the privacy tab Put the arrow and track so that the arrow is on low Click ok This will enable third party cookies: Click on tools on the menubar on your browser Click on Internet Options on the drop menu On the window that pops up, click on the security tab Click on the custom button On the little window that pops up, scroll down to where it says cookies, and make sure the radio button is in the enabled position Click save please refer to the email address above is this does not solve any problems |
