When you're in critical condition in any battle you started with full health (I.E. before entering a battle, heal yourself fully), press L + R + A.

It pretty much tells you what buttons to press in the "Master of Secrets" title. It says to press A+B+L+R. Probably at the same time, I'm not sure. I was only able to pull it off once without him doing something else, but my first time was interupted before the first hit. I haven't been as lucky since.

Try de-equiping all skills before attempting to pull it off. Also, have life bottles or Mint on the team just in case you die trying.
