[Logan/Leslee - Marauder's Sixth year]

That was it. This was war.

For years now, Leslee Bakur had been forced to put up with Logan Davis giving her stick for just about everything he could think of it. And good grief, how she loathed that Pureblood, arogant, snide Slytherin bastard.

Once coming to Hogwarts and realising that sweet and optimistic just wouldn't cut it, Leslee had instantly fallen in with one Elizabeth Abbins and her other friends. United, the girls were one hell of a posse. Bitchy, sarcastic, cruel and sharp-tongued, no one would ever dare come up against all of them. But, when alone, Leslee found it that much harder to stick up for herself. Luckily, most people had not picked up on this or else were worried that if they were mean to her Liz would find out and put them straight. And it wasn't as if she was actually weak; Leslee had given her fair share of tongue lashings in her time too.

But, somehow, for some reason unbeknownst to her, she had ended up on Logan's radar. And it was not a good radar to be on. Whenever she could not hide behind the comfort of her nearest and dearest friends, he was there, teasing her, taunting her, pulling pranks. Most of this usually took place during classes which they unfortunately shared and often ended up being sat next to each (why did her last name have to be Bakur so she was stuck near him? Why couldn't it be on the other side of the alphabet, beginning with Y or Z or something?) and she was so ashamed by them that she never told her friends. There was something about Logan that made it incredibly difficult to stand up to him.

Yet today he had crossed the line. She could put up with name calling. Heck, after six years at this school, she was used to being called things like 'Mudblood' and being insulted for being a Gryffindor. In fact, a large part of her actually rued the day she found out she was a witch and her connection with her family was all but severed. But what he had done to her first period was beyond anything like that. He had humiliated her, and it was more than she could take.

So, against her better judgement and without consulting her friends for the first time in years, Leslee had stormed down here and was determined to finally give this boy what for. Okay, she had no idea what she was going to do or say or anything in fact but she knew that if she didn't go now she'd lose her nerve and ending up just carrying on taking it lying down until she left Hogwarts. That wasn't the kind of person Leslee Bakur wanted to be. When she had joined Liz's posse, it had been so that she could become this strong, cool, sophisticated, tough-ass woman who wouldn't take anything from anyone. Now was the time to prove it.

Staring angrily at the Potion's classroom door as she waited for Logan's class to be dismissed, Leslee ran a hand through her blonde hair and resisted the urge to bolt.
