Elise knew she had a huge math test coming up shortly and knew she had to study. Which was why she went into the library, something she didn't do that often. Elise sat down at one of the tables in the back of the room and pulled out her math notes. Opening up to the right page she sighed and began looking over everything.
Why do I even need this stuff? She thought bitterly. I mean, I'm never going to use it ever again after this year, so what's the point?
No matter how many times she asked herself this question she knew what the point was. Her parents had always expected her to keep up her grades and stopping that now would surely result in an unnecesary arguement. Sighing again she began to redo the three practice problems her math teacher had given her.
This is so useless. She thought sighing once more.
