Sophia had seen the shop while in town but it had always been closed. Now it was open and she was thinking of going in and looking around. She had always thought herself a necromancer and her craft came after that. Now it was the witch part of her that was actting up and she needed to learn more then ever about it. Sophia wasn't sure if she could learn but if she ever wanted to go home to Richard again she needed to contorl the power within her. The necromacner part of her actted up as well because of it. It was hard to feel two powers inside of herself at war with each other both wanting to come out and play. Sophia wished she could go to her store and find everything she needed but she wasn't home. Her store was far away but this one was close and open to her. Sophia was uncomfortable talking to somoene that was in a unknown store. They could be just wanting to hurt her or something. For so many years she had to hide what she was, even now someone might feel her vampire marks that were closed at this time.

She parked her car and went into the store looking around. Her hands went to the packets of her long black coat that she had on. It was a lot warmer then it looked. Sophia looked around and moved to look at the herbs. She loved herbs and remembered in the west the way the Native Amercians treated them. They had tought her so much, she wished she had learned more from them. They were so powerful but good at times. Sophia picked up a bag of some herb to look at it. It was a good amount and looked to be in good shape. She was a harsh judge of such things as she herself owned such a shop of this. Sophia put it down and moved to see if there were any good books here.

Her hand reached for something and pulled her hand away quickly. Her tongue was filled with the taste of magic and she itched the back of her neck as if someone had pricked her. Sophia looked around to see who would dare do that, lucky her power didn't act up on them or they would be sorry. She moved her hand over her hair and went to the crystals looking at what the owner had. Sophia was proud to say that she had more crystals then this one did, more different kinds and shapes. Some of the crystals she had were very rare. One thing missing was things for power with the dead. Many wiccans frowned on the Necromancers in the world.

Sophia moved back to the herbs and looked to a man she noticed. "Do you think quartz will be good to use with anything to do with energy? I've heard some say yes but no." She looked at the herbs wondering what she needed to stock up on. Sophia should do it by spell really. Her money was ready to be used.

Wyck was happy to be back in his shop, he had missed it. It's like a place for him to be when he's needing a break. The shop had held a lot of meetings for the Scroobies. It was just something that have been with him for a long time, he didn't ever want to give up the shop. He guessed that they all had their guilty pleasures, this was his. He shrugged his shoulders and moved from the back room. He stretched and yawned.

He wasn't exactly tired but sleepy. He guessed he had been staying up too late, just because he's immortal doesn't mean he doesn't need sleep. He need sleep just like anyone else, he can just go longer. He was slowly getting used to being back in Medford. He had gotten in control of the constant dark pull, it was annoying at times and distracting. Though he has gotten his control over it. He's now on a mission, he know that the Anti-Christ is here, things will start coming into effects.

He already started to welcome hunters into his and Willow's home. People that could help in the fight, he hoped that they could prevent the battle though. He have a feeling they won't though he's not the type to even think of the bad side. He'll keep it in mind though, he moved with a set of books in his arms, they were ancient and large. He noticed a woman and felt her power, a necromancer and also a practioner. He wondered if she was a witch or a sorcoress. A witch is a practioner, he wondered if she was born with the magic. A parent or both could have been practioners and this made her a sorceress.

"Yes it can be." He said to her giving her as smile as he turned to her and placed the books on the round table in he center of the shop. He don't have any hostility towards Necronmancers, it may go against his Wicca views though he did bring back Buffy from the dead.

"Yes it can be."

Sophia was glad that something she knew happened to be true, she didn't want it to be false and have something bad happen when she tried to do what she needed to. She really wasn't looking forward to trying to learn how to contorl her magic, it had made her blood feel like it was boiling. It would be better if she learned though how to deal with it and not kill her Richard. His memory filled her with with so much loss and love. Sophia would rather be back with him then here in this magic shop, if only she was in her shop and not some one elses. She pushed a piece of hair out of her face and picked up the crystal she would be using.

She moved over to the books he was placing on the table and give him a small smile. Sophia put her crystal down and looked at the book on top. Seeing the tittle her heart felt like it had stopped. A man she once knew had owned a book just like that. Flahes of a knife cutting through her flesh, beatings, and crying on the floor filled her head. Sophia took a deep breath and let it out trying to not think to much upon it. It was the past and this was now. He had no more power over her life, he was rotting in hell as he should be. Sophia moved away from the books getting her crystals.

Memories of the past often came to her and made her feel ill and afraid. It would always pass quickly and it did again. Without Richard though it all seemed wrose then ever. Sophia sighed deeply as she moved over to the herbs. Her fingers moved quickly over the bags not really relaxing or picking just one. She stopped and picked out bags of herbs used in protection, sleep, and Necromancery. Protection magic had been like the one form of witchcraft she had used but now she would need more. Sophia went to look at the books again with her hands full.

"Where did you get that book?" Sophia asked pointing to the one on top that had brought back bad memories. "Have you looked thorugh it?" It couldn't be the book that was used to make her life hell. Sophia could see the face of the man that had made her wish for death and it chilled her blood. Please not let it have once belonged to him. It can't be that book. Sophia thought to herself.

Wyck wondered who this woman was, he could feel her power. He knew she was a necronmancer. He didn't care that she was, he welcomed all good to his shop. He didn't sense any evil about her. She seemed to be looking for something, crystals. Crystals are good for anything, healing, good luck, fortune, life, death. Crystals can be very powerful if used the right way. He watched her for a moment, his attention moving from his books and onto her with interest. He didn't have in his green contacts and his eyes were his natural gold color.

He watched her move over and smiled friendly. He didn't take his eyes off of her and it wasn't because he didn't trust her. He was intrigue by her, he don't know many necronmancers. He looked down ot the book that had caught her attention. He swallowed and wanted to take the book and burn it. Black magic was his past now and he didn't even want to sell the items. Though he knew he would lose a lot of custromers without them. He frowned slightly staring the book, he never never touch it, never use any of the horrible spells.

He had a feeling that she knew what this book held. He looked up at her feeling sorry for her. Seeing the pain in her eyes and the horror on her expression. He wanted to reach out and touch her. Though he didn't and didn't want to make it any worse for her. "Are you okay?" He asked as her as walked away and he looked to the book. He moved another one to cover it before turning to her. He smiled at her choice of herbs and nodded to her. "Those are good our best." He said to her moving from the small table and towards her.

He stopped as she spoke and he looked towards the direction of the table and then back to her. "It used to belong to an old ex-friend of mine. Bad bad sorceror..." he said as he shook his head. "No...I'll never touch it." He said quickly as if he felt guilty. The temptation was there.

Sophia liked the daytime best of all. Her feelings of the dead went away and she couldn't raise the dead now. The dead were better left for night. Another thing she didn't like was that her magic seemed to really come out in the day and the cold wind of death that kept it in check wasn't there. It was harder to contorl the magic in the day more then at night. So far she was doing very well, more then ever before. It seemed to be helping her but she missed Richard so much. The only thing she could think about must of the time was what Richard was doing and how he was doing. She looked at her watch and thought that Richard would be asleep by now for the day, he would only be awake if something was wrong but then he would sleep. How she missed him.

Seeing the book all she could think about was her old pain. It took her years to fully get back to herself because of what that man had done to her. Sophia was never the same after what he had done to her. The book was filled with dark spells that could twist a body in pain and make a person die. The only thing was Sophia couldn't die but she had wanted to die so very bad because of what he had done. The man just didn't use magic on Sophia but he had raped her, when raping her he liked to use a knife must of all. Her stomach twisted at that thought. All the painful memories were hard to forget.

"Are you okay?"

"I...I'll be okay." Sophia was strong and could get over this. She took a deep breath and wanted to hug herself tightly. She didn't do that though, she kept her brave face on. There was no way she was going to let this man she was less then okay. Sophia had to be strong, it had gotten her through a lot of hard times and even more so.

"Those are good our best."

Herbs? He was talking about herbs. The book may have been covered but out of sight didn't mean out of mind for Sophia. She could almost hear the wicked man's laugh as he told her what he would to do her. The cold steel of the blade could be felt moving on her neck. She was chilled to the bone. "I know how to pick out herbs." Sophia snapped at Wyck. "I'm sorry." She quickly added. It wasn't right to take out her anger or fear on Wyck, he hadn't done anything wrong.

"It used to belong to an old ex-friend of mine. Bad bad sorceror..." "No...I'll never touch it."

"An old friend of yours?" If he knew the man that first owned the book then he would be 100 of years old. No, he couldn't know that man that had used it so many years ago but he said a bad sorceror. Maybe the book just drew dark people to it. There was a power in the printed word. "It's a very evil book. There is no good that can come of it." Then an idea came to Sophia. She didn't want anyone to go through the suffering she had once had to go through. So she would buy the book and burn it. "Can I take that book?" She asked in a small voice.
